2:26 is the music that should've played when 007 accidentally trips the alarm and the Spetsnaz come after him, but they removed it from the game for whatever reason..
I think all levels' music was also made with "level ending soon, high stress, look out Bond!" versions. It's just that not every level ended up being written to have climaxes like that. The music was already written though just in case. For Dam, even if the alarm is tripped, the threat level doesn't go up that much. Plus in higher difficulties, the extra objectives mean this "climax" music could be playing for like half the level, defeating the purpose of the changeover.
Great work. I highly encourage you to do others from the GoldenEye 007 soundtrack! In addition to the two other great covers that you've already recorded.

The only minor drawback I have, is that the epic doublebass drumfill which should have been at 02:24-25 is left out when crossing over into the second part - could we ask for a little re-mix edit that includes this drumfill and recurrence of the original riff first, and then crosses to the second part, just a tad later? 👼😁
