Chan has mentioned that he has some health conditon that causes his hair to be easily damaged and thin out when he's stressed sometimes. Recently in a live stream, Han asked him about what color he would dye it and his response was that he still wants to but he can't.
"Oh" first take, was the very first time SKZ made me cry when they sang. The absolute chills I got when Chan started singing.

These are always so great to watch. Hyunjin dancing in Scars always brings me joy - it's always odd to see him just standing still in some of these haha and their hair, makeup, outfits etc in Scars is just gorgeous!

I love these First Take performances so much! I have a special memory with The First Take Mixtape OH. I was gently going through their discography, to not overwhelm myself. I listened to Mixtape OH and it was the moment I decided to STAY. And then, some time after, I saw this performance and Han locked himself in as one of my biases after he performed his part on the bridge. His voice is SO beautiful in there!
And I feel you on Scars, it is SUCH a good song, although don't ever make me choose a favourite song LOL. I tried that last year and went for my most played song, which was Waiting For Us haha. But I have really no clue which one I would choose. It depends on my mood, I guess?

I was hoping you’d react to Scars last, and you did. Everything was great but among their first takes, it’s the top one for me. The song, their outfits and their makeup were beautiful. When I first saw it, I kept on rewatching it for days, esp lee know and i.n’s part (the high notes). They sound sooo good here. Thank you for this reaction💕
I believe they're the 1st korean group to do First take.
They are not the first Korean group but they are the first to sing a korean song on the first take.

Yes, "Slump" has an English version. "Top" does, too. I would love to see you react to them both in English like you how you did the Japanese version. 🙂
The glowing lights surrounding them in the video really set an image in our collective brains. Scars was shot so beautifully.
On a side note? I noticed some inverse connections to Levanter in the videos. The biggest two are the shooting stars reflected in eyes drawing attention to a pyramid of light, and a beam of light. In Levanter we see the pyramid collapse, in Scars we see the upside down pyramid form. In Scars we see a pillar of light form & shoot into the sky, in Levanter we see a pillar of light come down to illuminate Han. (who's pose when that happens is in revers to how they pose in Scars) I know the two songs aren't linked in story line, but there are so many things that echo each other in small ways & reversed.

Captions for the First Takes are strange. They caption on the video itself for Korean spoken. They don't caption spoken Japanese (that's why there was no subtitles for the Japanese of when they introduced themselves in Slump) and then they have captioned subtitles from the YT CC for the song lyrics lol. Like, either have them all in the YT subtitle or have everything on screen within the video itself. Having it split is kinda weird. So yeah, if you had turned on the captions you would have seen the lyric subtitles.
