Amrita Hospital envisions inclusive healthcare. In 2017, Amrita Hospital in Kochi performed the first gender affirmation surgery in Kerala. Since then, we have established a dedicated Gender Affirmation Clinic, Aham. It offers acceptance, medical expertise, and a sanctuary for the transgender community's journey towards self-realization and fulfillment. We bring together various departments, including Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Endocrinology, Psychiatry, Psychology, Urology, Gastrointestinal Surgery, Gynecology, and ENT, to ensure a smooth transition for the transgender community.
