C'mon government. It's past the point of any excuses for not getting supplies and support to these folks.
To all my native friends who I worked with in the Boilermakers union, many years ago, I will be thinking of you and your families.

@Star Trek Theory I expect the wealthiest country in the world to be able to deliver basic help to rural communites during a crisis. Especially now that there seems to be some capacity for support in the national system at this time.
But then again, why should Native American tribes expect anything from the government? It's not like they have been treated honestly and fairly over the years.
And when you add the closing of the largest employer in the area- the Navaho Generating Station, I imagine that the support network that might have been able to pick up some of the slack, is already stretched to the breaking point.

@@briangarrow448 Well they have to deal with all these rioters and criminals burning stuff, but I agree they should be able to.

To all the "Irish Americans" out there. We need to donate and help out because Native Americans donated to our relief effort during the forced starvation by the British. Now it is our time to repay that debt. And if you had any doubts many people in Ireland are donating to the Navajo Nation for that very reason.

      @The Good Sheppard It's what I do.
I wear headphones. This kind of noisy video jacks me up. I'm GLAD there's subtitles.
It's for hearing impaired people. Like me.
      Jog up there isn't thinking.
Niether are you, it looks like.
It's a stupid question from an inconsiderate person.

I wouldn't take any donations because there has been a lot of contaminated food being traded on market. So some one is intentionally infecting it. So why not give some for free..

I forgot all about how American Indians migrated from Asia over the Bearing Sea. The young people are still learning from their elders about their traditions, everyone needs to try to keep the virus away from them!

You realize that nomadic tribes moved around and occupied any land they could take over, right?
Warrior tribes like the Apache and Crow were like that before the white man arrived, and weren't at war with Europe, right?
They were here killing each other for resources for thousands of years before they even SEEN
      pen and paper.
They had no concept of land ownership before we told them about it.
They didn't even have a wheel.
