The Ube powder is so vibrant and fun! I was excited to get it, but someone made a good point on a YT short that I saw- Purple will emphasize dark circles and/or hyperpigmentation more. So, I'm on the fence about it or I might try another purple that might not be so purple.
i tried a purple powder before and i will say if your undertones are warmer or you have issues with grayness/scarring/hyperpigmentation then i wouldn't recommend! if you use a peach color corrector, purple has the opposite effect. i think purple powder works better for people with cool undertones who want to cover redness. of course, the saturation of the powder should also match the saturation of your skin, and i don't know any brands that make a deeper purple powder
@@sensitiffly I agree, which is why I've decided not to purchase it. I don't have hyperpigmentation, but due to genetics, I have under-eye hollows -- so a purple powder would defeat the purpose of color correcting. I have a yellow to neutral complexion, so I could probably use it on my face, but not under the eyes.
@ I've been thinking of getting the Peach Pie powder. I use Banana Bread and love it! I have the OS Ultra Pink, but sadly, I haven't used it yet. I could probably mix peach pie with OS. Thanks!
Yeah....i can't tell the difference and the light is hitting the purple side of your face more. I think the purple works more for you but i'm a little lighter with warmer undertones so the yellow/golden powder would work better on my skin tone
I think that Fenty Banana is too yellow for us. I like their Cashew better. Gives brightness and a lil yellow without doing too much. I definitely like the natural look of the Huda better.
I think the purple got rid of any and all shadows under your right eye. The O/S pink was fine. I still saw some shadow under your left eye (Fenty) and I agree, it looks a tiny bit ashy. I do not see a Fenty purple powder on Sephora's site. Thanks!
Banana looks ashy, imo honey is a better shade for the fenty powder for our skin tone (but you did say you don’t set your undereyes with anymore). If huda comes out with a mini version of the purple I might try it
@@mimiix935 oh really! Maybe my Sephora doesn’t have it because it’s not showing up on their website, not even as “out of stock”! Thanks for the info though🙏🏽, I’ll go check the Huda website
Have you tried the Huda powder in Kunafa or Cinnamon Bun? I am medium to dark skin tone and the Huda powder in Blondie has been a game changer for me. I am also curious to try the Peach Pie powder because the description on Sephora says it’s for medium to tan with warm undertones and that sounds like me and it comes in a mini, which is always a bonus for traveling.
Thank you for this. I tried the purple last night and it went well with the concealer I had and I was shocked tbh. I have LYS pink and I'm trying to like it I just feel it's so matte on me. Did you try that one?
I like them all for different looks…..but we kno how u love to mix and so do I so let’s get some combo looks …..purple and pink? Yellow and purple? All 3?
How did it look after everything settled for a bit? The way your face looked right after the brush off and setting spray compared to how it looked at the end was a difference?
I really do want Fenty to reformulate their powder or even better give us a different finish because the original is matte. I decluttered mine. It did like it just not the finish.
The purple just melts into the skin
Yellow makes your face look more snatched

@ if you use a peach corrector under the eyes, then a peachy-pink powder might look flattering :)

The purple gave a beautiful, slightly lightening look.
The purple looks so good on you
Omg yesssss finally an explanation im always wondering which looks the best out of all the shades!
I'd say the yellow powder because I'm dark skinned but have warm undertones. Both the pink & purple powders will give off ashiness.
Came to say something similar. Shanygne has a cool undertone so I think the pinkish tones works better for her than they would for me.
The purple is the best, but the yellow powder adds some brightness.
I like the purple and pink!

Purple is SEAM. LESS.
Wow. I want to add a purple powder to my collection.
What about the peachy powders?
Yeah i’d love to see peachy next
Time to get a purple concealer!
THE VIDEO WE NEEDED
Purple looks like you have porcelain doll skin. Its so seamless
Thank for this! Yesterday I was literally trying to decide what to go for, this is very helpful
That ube birthday cake is sooo good
I pick my powder by my undertone. Its fun to wear pink powder, but i have to balance out the rest of my body with it as well.
I’ve been wearing the pink powder from One Size but I just placed an order for that purple powder!!!
Love these comparisons
Thank you SO, SO MUCH for this video!
I agree Ube looks very natural, the banana looks brighter
I think they all look good so it comes down to personal preference ❤❤❤
Something about the yellow just doesn’t look right to me, but it’s not as well lit. So the shadows could be messing with my perception.

I agree with you. It think Fenty Cashew or Honey might be better.
The purple gives photo ready! Pink looks like nothing was really done…. The yellow is bright with a hint of ashy

Same here. I am hoping they make a mini for the purple powder and for Blondie. Like, they should just make a mini for all the colors.
@ there’s one for blondie!

@ in my country it’s only available online so it’s possible that your sephora doesn’t carry it but it’s deffo on her website!
Honey is good but cashew is my fave
I been wondering about this 🤔

Thank you for this. Unfortunately I can’t do the purple, I have a warm neutral undertone and the purple cancels it making me look flat.
hi! may i ask which setting powder you use because I’m also a warm neutral undertone and it’s been difficult to find one that suits my complexion
I like them all for different looks…..but we kno how u love to mix and so do I so let’s get some combo looks …..purple and pink? Yellow and purple? All 3?

I used my FB Nutmeg to mix into a very expensive powder that was too light.
Thank you! Would've preferred you use HUDA Blondie powder to compare the same brand.
Which brush did you use to remove and brush off the powders?
You're very beautiful ❤❤❤
