Zap Brannigan It’s a Thursday night game and live on Sky, put the same game on a Friday night and you get a much bigger crowd. Don’t know what Union games are getting on a mid week game so I can’t compare the two.
Zap Brannigan It’s always had a problem from a number of areas. It’s historically a working class sport and unfortunately the biggest sport in the country is also a working class sport. Union is more of a middle class sport where the supporters are interested more in the international game. When all the news agencies in the country as also biased towards these two sports unfortunately League doesn’t get the exposure it deserves. It has also had the problem of small minded and talentless individuals running the game. It’s a crying shame because as a spectacle it’s significantly better and more exciting to watch, and play.
