Fun fact: The applin math equation John said was solved.
He had 3 applin and trade 2 Applins you get 1 Applin
Then you buy 75 applin + your one Applin and you get 76
Then you divide 76 applin divided by 4 applin and get 19 applin.
Then you evolve it into a monster which leaves you with:
One apple pie monster and 18 Applin.

@@conlon4332 Yeah, but you would need to do it a few times and each time is a couple of seconds. Not saying it’s a huge deal, but it’s just those minor inconveniences that some people go through for a good comment that puts a smile on my face.
In the third-to-last round when John said “I know what I have to do, but I don’t know if I have the strength to do it.” and then opened up BDSP, I legitimately thought he was going to go catch Heatran.

Me too! As the only Pokémon with the same base stat total as its 2 evolved forms, it seemed obvious, and would have tied Heracross.
EDIT: I realized Shuckle could have beaten them
@@pinkyoshianimate1819 Yup. One of my favourite fun facts is that until gen 4 with Yanmega (and only Yanmega), fucking Shuckle was the strongest bug type by base stats.

Watching Mikey get the shiny Galarian Yamask reminds me of when I got my first ever wild shiny encounter.
I had just caught all the Legendaries in the Max Cave Adventure and I wanted to see what they looked like in the overworld, so I flew to the Isle of Armor to see what their walk/run cycle looked like, and as I was doing that I accidentally ran into an Inkay which was shiny. I wanted to freak out but it was the middle of the night and my dad was in the next room so I just silently freaked out
I'm shocked that they both went to the Mirelands for Grass and neither thought of Torterra. It was definitely my first thought.

Funnily enough, I too just got my very FIRST full odds shiny in my Shield game yesterday. I don't have the shiny charm yet, but I was taking Mikey's suggestion from an earlier video to go mark hunting in the Isle of Armor, and it was heavy fog, so I wanted to see if I could find a Raltz with a misty mark. I'd caught about 20 Raltz, when a shiny Raltz popped up. Still haven't found a marked one, but I am stoked about that shiny! It was amazing! I'm SO glad I saw that video and took your suggestion, Mikey! Thanks for the advice and the videos!

This is a really good one, have you considered doing something similar but have to have the highest base stat total across them all. Like you add them up at the end, or you could do catch 3 of a certain group and add them up

Just wanted to say that for the Electric Type Fully Evolved round I misremembered it as Electric Type Middle Stage in part because I know for a fact which one that is namely Elektabuzz and the reason I know that is because of my time playing the Cross Evolution format on Pokemon Showdown, Elektabuzz has the highest stats of any 2nd stage Pokemon except maybe Magmar which when crossevolved with Butterfree makes for a very potent setup sweeper with Quiver Dance.
Running into a Random Shiny is quite hard in Sword, even with a Charm... I think only one I ran into (technically almost ran over it by accident) was Hattene. Sure, it's not TOO different from other one, but I like the silvery hair.
