Don't know where else to post this, but since I was going through all of them just now, I thought that I would share that I'm getting a 'core emotion' from each of the individual tunes, that represents almost the entire spectrum.
Dodge: Determination
Chevrolet: Triumph
Aston Martin: Excitement
TVR: Anxiety
Nissan: Impatience
Mitsubishi: Mischievousness
Toyota: Overconfidence
Honda: Despair
Mazda: Neutral (I always thought this was the most generic out of all the manufacturer themes)
Subaru: Exasperation

Remembered the time I raced a viper, DB7, Volante, DB7 Coupe, I kept doing donuts (I was 6). I was forced to change to a smaller car since I don't know how to handle it lol. Good times, good donuts

MoJoThundRpants Try adjusting the suspension for more understeer (raised front ride-height, harder front spring rate than the rear, inward toe angles, etc.)
+maroDC5 GT1 is quite oversteery by nature. Trail braking on anything but a FWD is essentially killing yourself. On high-powered RWDs like the Viper, then... You're going on a one-way trip to the wall. Keep the car as straight as possible under braking. There's little you can do about powerslides, in fact it seems like it's faster to do that than just go around the corner normally.
man I miss the physics in gran turismo 1, gran turismo 2 felt too easy to handle high powered cars. you don't even have to turn with the escudo.
Dodge should sometimes play this in their dealerships 💪🇺🇲

Every time I hear this particular music track from Gran Turismo 1 I think of a Dodge Viper on the dyno, and then I think of the torque curve. Did that happen to you? Because every time I listen to it, that happens to me.

+1 Sucks that from GT2 onwards the blue and white wasnt available. The blue and white was a Year One package offered in 96/97. Thats what a friend told me that used to work for Dodge a few years back.
I putted this song when entering dodge dealer in Gran turismo 7 , it fitted perfectly well ♥️

Why did dodge discontinue the viper? I don't understand. It was such a amazing car. They should bring the viper back or make a similar car (Not just a reskin of the challenger or charger) but a actual supercar.
Safety, thanks to FMVSS 226, which mandated side curtain air bags on all cars built from 2017 onwards.
As PM AYO mentions, (stupid) new regulations in the US that forces manufacturers to fit side air-bags in their cars, it was impossible to fit these in the Viper.
They will probably redesign it and bring it back in a few years like how it happened in 2010, or at least I hope that's the case, together with hoping they don't make nonsense to the Viper like paddle shifting and downsizing.
Keep in mind Its a little hard to sell somthing that expensive and specialized especially for a company like chrysler which has had a few financial issues in the past 30 or so years, dodge used to be a family sporty oriented brand like pontiac but now they are trying to adopt a higher emphasis on performance and with no genuinely reliable and valuable bread makers like minivans or a good midsize or compact car tor Crossover they can't pump out vipers en masse those cheap cars fund projects like the viper and all of SRT

why aren't they allowed? that's one thing that i've noticed about older NFS games aswell. they all used to have fitting music that actually sounded great and now all they have is shitty rap or dumbstep. i want the good old game soundtracks back :V

It's because those were from the North American version of the game. The original Japanese GT had none of these tracks, and in fact had tracks very similar to GT2, which is when they started doing international versions.

gt has always had awesome cover cars. But the vipers still my favorite. Its a shame tho they dont even have a viper older than 99 in gt5 so i cant get one in blue w/ white racing stripes.

Dodge, SRT, and Ram became separated during the launch of the 3rd-gen SRT Viper GTS until the SRT brand got discontinued and all cars manufactured by SRT are treated as Dodge cars the same way Scion-manufactured cars are treated as Toyotas.

In GT5 I went into the music menu and turned off all the lounge music for the menus, and transferred over some of the good rock tracks from the racing playlist. Things were much better after that.
GT Sport is good, GTFO with hat nostalgia bias, I know the older Gran Turismo music are better, but you are 100% biased
