It's so refreshing to find someone who's read The Silverblood Promise. I see plenty of people talking about how gorgeous the cover is (they're not wrong) but not the actual words in-between. I seem to have a thing for none hero type protagonists so Logan was an instant hit for me. Add that to a mystery, political intrigue and characters with more layers to them than an onion and it added up to me having the best time. I agree with you about the recapping. Throughout the book I couldn't understand why I needed to be told something twice and wondered why an editor hadn't picked up on that. But also it was a very minor quibble. My only other complaint might not even be a valid one. There's someone who is clearly not what they appear to be and throughout the book I was waiting for answers about them... Didn't happen. Given that this is the start of a trilogy that may very well be resolved but we appear to be exploring other parts of the world so it felt like an up in the air thread. But damn I want book 2 in my hands immediately. Without a doubt my most anticipated release of 2025
I have also seen so many people talk about it on their tbr and how pretty it looks but not many about the actual novel itself! Very excited for book 2 next year!
You've been busyyy! I am glad you've been having so many great reads. I also really enjoyed Silverblood Promise, can't wait for the sequel! And Murder at Spindle Manor is such a fun romp. Good luck with all the writing endeavours, I am super excited after loving Silence is Silver! Cheers, Andrew 🤩
If you think you hate Regal, wait till you meet Kyle Haven in the Liveship Traders trilogy. You only think you know hate, my friend. I love your videos. You are awesome.
Hi there, I recently stumbled across your channel. Really enjoy your content and book recommendations, so much so I recently bought both your books. Can't wait to read them along with my ever growing TBR. One of my favourite booktubers out there👌📖☕
I really liked The Tainted Cup as well. I had some issues with the pacing in the first half, but i loved the second half, i couldn't put it down. And the more time passes, the more i think about it, the more i love it.
I just finished Assassin's Quest. I think it's amazing. If I am enjoying a series, I think I feel that each book gets better, as it deepens the world. No series does that more than Farseer! And the daily tales of what is going on never feels slow to me in this world. I can't wait to read Ship of Magic, but I am sad to leave the Fitz POV. Congrats on the progress on your writing!
I just started reading Kingfall by David Estes and it's amazing. Since Kraken Rider Z didnt quite work out, I highly rec'd Kingfall. I also enjoyed The Silverblood Promise but maybe not as much as most reviewers. The back and forth and restating what happened took me out of the story. Regardless, I'll read book 2 when it comes out!
Loving murder mystery fantasy you say, have you read The Blood of Crows by Alex C Pierce. I’d describe it quickly as a heist, murder mystery in a fantasy setting. Interested?😁

Oh no. How is that possible?!
@@the_fools_tale Because he is 100X more hateable than Regal.
I'm with Stickyfeet on this one 🤣🤣
Yup Kyle is the würst

Thanks so much Carl!
I wasn’t sure about the Tainted Cup, but now you talked so much about it that I have to pick it up.
Excellenttttt. You can blame me if you don’t like it haha
@@the_fools_tale I’m already blaming you for Dungeon crawler Carl 😉
(Not bad, but not my thing. Audiobook is excellent, though)

FLEA IS EVERYTHING ! She’s just the best.

Just curious, but what did you enjoy about it? I feel like nothing happened! 🤭And Fitz is insufferable.
Reading Assassin’s Apprentice right now. Great so far👍👍

He successfully hid his accent from me for the first 20 seconds.
Black Mantle news!!!! Sweet! Great video, sir. You are making it hard to not blow up my TBR to read Farseer😂
Do itttt
@@the_fools_tale 😂

Im dying for an audiobook of Harbinger of Justice. Just saying 🤓
I also loved the dungeon crawler audio booms! Any recommendations on similar type of books?
Sadly I’ve not found anything that has captured the magic DCC has yet. I’m on the hunt though and I’ll certainly share if I do find something!
Props? 😂 a trampoline? 😉
