A deportation flight transporting migrants and offenders to Albania reportedly had only 47 individuals on board, costing taxpayers £1 million, it was stated today.
The Home Office published images yesterday of individuals being expelled from the UK as part of their efforts to strengthen the nation’s stance on immigration.
Authorities indicated that they had executed 5,074 forced returns between July 5, 2024, and January 31, 2025, marking an increase of almost 25% compared to the prior year. They also noted that a total of 2,925 foreign national criminals had been deported.
