Lizzy McAlpine - Live at the Ryman - February 13, 2022

Lizzy opened for Dodie at the Ryman in Nashville, TN on February 13, 2022. Lizzy could have headlined there and sold the place out, though. She was incredible. There were a lot of people yelling and screaming over her while she played and sang, so sorry about that in advanced. You might hear a little fussing between a few fans at some point in the video, so watch out for that, hah.
The venue's policy was no video recording, so I wasn't going to record at first. I saw plenty of other people recording, though, and no one seemed to mind. I started recording my video after the third song. If this wasn't just the venue's policy and was actually Lizzy's policy, Lizzy, let me know and I will take this down.

The sound quality of this is really good!!! Even with audience participation and yelling Lizzy's vocals and guitar picking come through excellently!!! The lyrics are clear too!!! You can even hear her vibrato. Thank you!!!

Great set. That first song is just lovely, mesmerizing. I keep trying to figure out who she reminds me of. She's unique but I think her music makes me feel a lot like Suzanne Vega's. There's a painful, solitary quality to it.

I still find it hilarious that the people behind me and my friend left and didnt come back right after her set, but she definitely was worth seeing in person so I also get it, they were lovely to sit near and i really understand their love for her now haha

Yeah, I missed recording at least the first 2 songs. She played “doomsday” and “all my ghosts” before! I really just wish she would have played all of her songs 😂
