Ive been using these for years on the job, everyday use " fulltime mechanic" and love them. I do wear out a set every 3 to 6 months, snapon truck swaps them out for free everytime! Good stuff!
Knipex makes very good tools - got all three sizes, but I haven't used them very often on hex bolts / nuts on motor vehiles. More for gripping round objects, like when doing plumbing jobs or 'stuck' filler caps. I was given a set of 3/4" sockets by my grandfather when he retired as an industrial mechanic / huge commercial washing machine assembler, just as I was getting into the auto repair business. Besides handling the "big stuff" the 3/4" sockets make handy seal drivers, using a brass or plastic hammer to keep from beating them up; mostly what I used those for over the years.
i was looking at a tool catalog where i saw those, im earing about knipex for years now an wanted to see some reviews on them before pulling the trigger. when i searched yours showed up first and even before clicking i was sure it was a safe buy. thanks fow your in depth reviews
Knipex Cobras are awesome, and also highly recommend the Knipex Pliers Wrench (part number 86 03 180) and come in same sizes as the cobra pliers. Great channel
Great video thanks for me the best wather Pump in world knipex wrench and knipex cobra the best quality and strong tools 💪💪💪 knipex lineman's pliers so the best design, lenghts Here from Portugal 🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹
I got them and have had them for many years. But I have to say that the correct way to use any plier or wrench (pipe wrench) is, you push or pull the wrench/pliers in the same way the teeth are pointed! That's it. Nice tool though.
I have had mini bulk cutters from knipex for years and they are that accurate still that they will cut paper with the tips even though they shouldn't because there bulk cutters lol
Man I like mine. I have the same set I also have two pair that I carry in pocket instead of a Gerber one is 5" and the other is 6" great pliers nothing like em.
REALY like those pliers , have the same one and they safe busting youre fingers as they whont slip to the next size when used those waterpump pliers are the only type of pliers where it pays to use knipex even if there twice the price of cheap ones
I’ve got about 30 I’m my box. They are issued at my work (refinery) and I’ve collected a few over years. They are also sold as Craftsman brand because they basically put there name on other brands selected tools.
I would love to see close up pictures of the teeth on top and bottom of jaws. I recently bought a pair of the Comfort grip chrome color 10” pump pliers and the teeth got crushed on a simple gas supply line job. I filed a claim and had to pay shipping for a new pair. They do ask the following questions: · Age of the tool · Place of Purchase · Problem with the tool · Application when tool broke · First and Last Name · Shipping Address
Forgot to mention they don't pinch the palm of your hand either like regular channel lock/adjustable pliers do and they don't slip like those do either.
Awesome amount of clamping strength that those have. I have the smaller ones and the king cobra which is larger than the ones you showed, have to get that in between one now. Appreciate the good videos, have a good memorial day weekend.
Hey man. I don't know if you ever talked about your work before you started doing these videos. Can you tell us about your past jobs and do you still have a job? Thanks man.
Wonder how many people said "Ka Nip ex Kyle"...Lol. .. Nice work bro...I love mine too....I have the " alligator" pliers..I also found a nice pair of Bahco pliers that are this style.... lower cost and similar to these....
By far my favorite pliers, gotten me out of plenty of bad situations that wrenches and other pliers couldn’t handle.
Same' I luv my 10" Knipex Alligator Pliers' I pocket carry them Daily at Work 💪
Not as expensive as I thought they would be! Thanks for the recommendation!

Just bought myself a 3 set. 7, 10, and 12 inch. Hopefully no one on the jobsite steals them. I'm an apprentice, i don't make that much money yet.
😂

The tool is much better than the demo.
Maybe I should have filmed with my phone vertically...
Great channel, great pliers. What this a throw back to "Episode 5 | Tig Welding Must Have"?
Get the 5" pair of Cobras and keep it in your pocket at all times. I use mine 10 times as often as my pocket knife.
That’s 3of 4 this week. Don’t stop now. Keep on keeping on.
may have one up tomorrow
It's Friday fool, have a good weekend.

Is this tool uncommon in America? In the Netherlands every household has a 'waterpomptang'. Nothing special.
Netherland's is bad German. :-D #Wasserpumpenzange
No they are pretty common
