    A while back I built some adaptive headlights for my Miata because I was wanting for more light on a previous driving oriented road trip. These things do a really good job of addressing the issue. There's still room for improvement but it likely involves adding additional lights for more forward projection at high speeds.

    How did you go about doing retrofit adaptive headlights? Looking to install some myself

      In short, I'm using servos, like what you'd find on an RC car, to move the projectors. The steering angle is determined by a potentiometer on the steering column. An Arduino is the brains of the operation and translates the steering angle to a desirable projector positioning.
