1:18 They did make those generation K5 Blazers & Jimmys with 2 wheel drive from 1973 through 1982 & after that, 2 wheel drive was dropped.

@@manonabudget8808 also those are the second generation K5 Blazers, the first generation ones came out in 1969 & replaced the panel trucks. The first generation GMC Jimmys on the other hand came out & replaced the panel trucks one year later.

@@manonabudget8808 they made those generation fullsize Blazers & Jimmys from 73 through 91.

@@manonabudget8808 they also made the crew cab pickups & Suburbans from 73 through 91 too. The 1/2 ton & 3/4 ton regular cab pickups were made from 73 through 87 & the 1 ton regular cab pickups were made from 73 through 89.

@@manonabudget8808 & the only way a Chevy or GMC buyer could get a bigger cab on a fullsize pickup back then was to buy a crew cab which were only on 3/4 ton & 1 ton models & only came with the 8ft fleetside boxes since they didn't offer extended cabs on the 3rd generation C/K series pickups.

The tailgates on those Chevy K5 Blazers & GMC Jimmys are a lot heavier than the ones on the pickups & those removable tops are also heavy. I'm sure K5 Blazers, Jimmys, & Suburbans are heavier than the half ton pickups since they have longer bodies unlike the pickups where they have 2 shorter separate bodies "cab & pickup box."
