This guy actually showed what being the side character feels like. Even if are part of the main group. This actually have the feeling of love the real tesnion and hopelessness when you know ist never going to happen. Yet you remain true or try to be. Every person was so genuine and nice.
In the beginning It's more like Manaka loves Tsumugu, and then things were kind of confusing for me, because they could have a good development and the series just start to focus in the love triangle and leave begin what they show us in the beginning about them.

Yes, I don’t care for Hikari x Manaka at all. Mostly because Manaka has a very bubbly and “cute” personality, which is very annoying to me. And she’s the only character who has never needed to experience the pain of loving someone who she KNOWS doesn’t love her back. I can’t bring myself to like her
He’s my favorite character. I was rooting for him so hard throughout the anime, because he was always being pushed to the side even though he was such an amazingly supportive and helpful friend. He never gets what he wants; he holds himself back from what he wants because he knows that it might hurt others. Seeing him get constantly left out made my heart hurt so much. Kaname deserves good things and I’m really glad Sayu confessed to him like this. One of the most impactful, beautiful confessions imo.
