It's possible that It's real and they're just Spreading awareness that it's fictional Organization as a mean to hid it What's better way to be secretive if people don't believe you're real lol
Imagine if the whole reason 2399 was sent to our galaxy in the first place was because the people who constructed it wanted something like 682 dead because they didn't want to risk Earth being destroyed and launching it to another occupied world? Or if they were aware of some other SCP(s) that posed a threat to them and they actually had no intention of threatening Earth's inhabitants?
The people who constructed 2399 knew about the false Mekhane. In 2399’s article, they refer to it as “target”, and tell it that the target is the priority. In the 001 article, 2399 appears and nukes the monster so hard that it made the Gulf of Mexico. So, the people knew that 001 would someday come into existence and wanted it dead. My theory (which probably was thought up by someone else, IDK the origin) is that 2399 is truly Mekhane, and the people sending it messages are actually just Mekhane’s consciousness.
@@hero-scout9397 To get "stuck" on other planets (or to crash into them) is highly unlikely, the space between the Solar System's planets is extremely large (if you haven't noticed). To travel between here and Mars at the most efficient transfer window (transfer window being a time in two planet's orbit where it is most efficient for rockets to travel through) with conventional chemical rocket engines takes 9 months to get there, and another 9 to get back, not including waiting for the next transfer window. Another thing, the sun cannot "grab" the SCP unless it is on a sub-orbital course, which is highly unlikely if it's travelling between the orbit of Jupiter and Earth, and, even if it was on a sub-orbital course and was due to enter the sun's atmosphere I doubt much would happen to it considering that it can survive the LOWER atmosphere of Jupiter, it might have a chance with a little dip inside the sun.

Next thing you know, we’ll be getting messages saying “Hello, puny planet, this is de Incursean Empiah, and you shall all bow down tah me, Emperah Milleous”
The foundation has things that LITERALLY alter the fabric of reality. Science and technology shouldn't compare to something that ignores the laws of both.
This is from another reality, Some scps came from other realities Like scp 001 ( when day breaks) it happened on another reality, On the original/canon reality its already destroyed by dr bright by throwing the moon io unto it.
Yeah but those things are hard to control or effectively get them to Jupiter with out the ship disappearing or the people dying a month into the travel
There's realities where some other aliens come along and destroy it, and realities where it proceeds to destroy earth unhindered. There's also realities where the foundation beats it. It's just a matter of the whole SCP universe having infinite different canons, because different realites.
hypotethically speaking, if this was an automated thing, why dont just recreate the message from the creator that would say "Self Destruct" rather than try destroying it from earth, i mean the foundation already have a way to translate/decode the message from the creator. so they must be atleast can to make a reply message in same "Signal", but send it to the machine instead of the sender.
@@andrewcurtin7003 I’m gonna be honest, in my opinion, I think this battle could end in a stomp from both sides. In one scenario, 682 would be able to shrug off whatever 2399 can launch at it, allowing it to tear it apart after getting through the shield, but on the other hand 2399 could also completely vaporize 682 as it could have weapons that we’ve never seen. Personally I believe the former is most likely to happen as its shield is able to take nukes like they’re nothing. Their best chance is if the Foundation’s EMP takes out the shield and fire that damn lizard into 2399 while it’s still under repair. If that happens 682 shouldn’t have any problem dealing with any internal defenses (if any) 2399 has. That’s just my opinion though.
I just love the fact that certain SCPs took inspiration from real life, like this for example. This SCP is based on the real-life fact that Jupiter constantly shields us from asteroids that could have potentially landed here on Earth.
Talking about ways to defeat this scp, why can't they just take some of the scattered parts, so the ship can never be repaired? What's the problem with that? There must be some parts on jupiter far enough from the ship, for it to be safe to take these parts, or possibly some are on the Jupiter's moons, as the repair drones also wander here. This is the way. And, well maybe throwing a moon at it...
I don’t think he has access to these files, and can somehow gain knowledge of these unauthorized files, similar to the SCP “Cliche, right?” The rubber also seems to experience fear, shock and pain, yet seems to sustain no damage from extremely dangerous situations, aswell as contact with multiple keter class SCP.
Well he would be safe class and somewhere at level 4 Staff since he doesn’t talk about Level 5 Stuff but briefly mentions it! Also he appears indestructible since he always comes in contact with the most dangerous SCPs
The author definitely wasn’t thinking about any reality warping, wish fulfilling, or highly technologically advanced scps. A reality warper could fuck it up real good, a wish fulfilling or advanced tech scp could create the emp “that is currently impossible to make with our technology.”
Usually cross-testing or making different SCPs interact with each others is not liked by the foundation, due to the unknown consenquences behind it. If I were the foundation though I would ask the Devil Chair SCP to give a EMP weapon strong enough to put down SCP 2399's shields
that's...... a shallow reason.... and lmao it's not about that SCP Universe isn't for babies and it mostly doesn't your usual alien invasion stereotype in some Extraterrestrial SCP's
Fun fact, it's far more likely that jupiter is made up mostly of liquid, not gas. Jupiter is so big that the pressure from its gravity and atmosphere compress most of the gas into liquid. In a way, you can think of jupiter as a giant propane tank, but instead of being held in by metal walls, it's held by gravity.
@@macmiina Even with a solid core, it's more likely that whatever thing trying to land on Jupiter will stop falling at certain point (like its floating), while being crushed by enormous pressure.
Where can i find these stories is there 1 person who wrote all scp stories or are they all made by the community with esch person coming up with his version of an scp on a subreddit or smth
Idea that the foundation couldve done: make a message and use there language to send it to the scp and tell it to go to the longest place away from its home galaxy so it cant get messages and then if it hopefully complies we win
Bro, the destroyer is thousands of times more advanced technology. It will track the IP of the message and from there it will know which one to respond to and which one not to.
Solution: Independence day. The drones seem capable of passing through the shield no problem. Capture a drone and if able rig it with nukes then when it passes through the shield, detonate
Yes, but as we have seen, the scp 2399 seems to be able to protect the drones with all its might. And also, we are talking about a civilization capable of creating a planet-destroying weapon, I don't think that such a plan can destroy the destroyer.
@@joaquingiorsemino8343 true, the SCP protects the drones. But it was stated that the drones go as far as euorpa and other planets. Or its a failed transformer

Plot twist: while 2399 is heading towards Earth after it has recovered, it intercepted Io's orbit and hit Io and fell to Jupiter again
Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t this thing also the thing that shot down SCP 4217-B as a space-faring creature causing it to enter Earth?
I think so, because in an attempt to talk to it, it showed multiple flashes including one of Jupiter, and then zoomed in on it showing SCP-2399, thus getting agitated and violent.

The foundation has things that LITERALLY alter the fabric of reality. Science and technology shouldn't compare to something that ignores the laws of both.
This is from another reality,
Some scps came from other realities
Like scp 001 ( when day breaks) it happened on another reality,
On the original/canon reality its already destroyed by dr bright by throwing the moon io unto it.
Laws of the universe are overrated
Yeah but those things are hard to control or effectively get them to Jupiter with out the ship disappearing or the people dying a month into the travel
There's realities where some other aliens come along and destroy it, and realities where it proceeds to destroy earth unhindered. There's also realities where the foundation beats it. It's just a matter of the whole SCP universe having infinite different canons, because different realites.

God i wish we could launch 682 at this thing, that would be the fight of a lifetime

There must be some parts on jupiter far enough from the ship, for it to be safe to take these parts, or possibly some are on the Jupiter's moons, as the repair drones also wander here.

This sounds like one of the SCPs that exist within a vacuum, as in other SCPs are not taken into consideration when figuring how to destroy this one.
The author definitely wasn’t thinking about any reality warping, wish fulfilling, or highly technologically advanced scps. A reality warper could fuck it up real good, a wish fulfilling or advanced tech scp could create the emp “that is currently impossible to make with our technology.”
Assume every SCP exists within a vaccuum/its own continuity, unless it references another SCP explicitly.
Usually cross-testing or making different SCPs interact with each others is not liked by the foundation, due to the unknown consenquences behind it. If I were the foundation though I would ask the Devil Chair SCP to give a EMP weapon strong enough to put down SCP 2399's shields

Idea that the foundation couldve done: make a message and use there language to send it to the scp and tell it to go to the longest place away from its home galaxy so it cant get messages and then if it hopefully complies we win
The moment it leaves the array, it will start receiving the original message, unless it is convinced to shut off all comunications, it won't work.
The thing is, there's a chance the drone will pass through and whatever it's rigged with will stay behind
But what if the SCP is able to sense that one of the drones has been tampered with and would prevent it from getting near.
No capture some parts, before drones do it, and using nanites download a virus!
Wait till a drone is outside the signal jammers that surroud Jupiter and jump it. If possible rip open the armor and plant a warhead then do repair. The drone most likely won't recognize the method of repair so it will head straight for the SCP to get an actual repair done
