It's like something that got cut from Godspell! LOL!!! I got this for Xmas in 1971 just after I turned 8 and my dad had died from lung cancer. Some things from then are STAMPED into my brain and this is one of those things. Thank you for this!
Oh, my god! I cannot believe you found this. I don’t know why it popped into my head tonight but I came on here in hopes that somebody had posted it. I had this doll and the record and, man, it’s tripping me out that over four decades later I still know the words to the song. Thanks for the memories.
I won this in pass the parcel at a kids birthday party. My brother and I used to listen to it a lot, and have a laugh, and put the B-side on and sing along to it. My brother even recorded himself singing it for a laugh when he was about 12. Ha ha ha...
i received at xmas, instead of a big jim doll, i hate it from the moment i open the wrap, but i decided to give him a chance, that song was my first 45 vynil record, i keep it as long as i could, bring memories from a happy childhood, doesnt take too many time i get ride of the clothes and dress him like an adventurer/hunter/heroe and make him part of the crew with 6 million dollar man and gi joe´s,, good old times
I'm looking for the Barbie 45 single where she (or maybe it was P.J.) sang a song where she was letting out some yelps of what I seem to remember sounded like "Scratch!" or "Dance!" or something like that.

I have this record! Yes, the B side is an instrumental version.
I used to have that Ken doll. Got it for Xmas in 71. The stage he stood on vibrated so he kind of did a hippie dance.
I love this song so much!
I just bought this doll on ebay. I wish I could get the record to it. Thanks for posting it

I had him but mine didn't have a record lol
I still have the 45rpm, but sadly not the doll or stage.
Does anyone know who actually sang this? I swear, it sounds like David Soul...
It does sound like him
...aaand this did not end up in the movie how?
It sort of sounds like Cat Stevens to me.
