Do not cut the waffle, let's have fun while making Art. You have to enjoy it otherwise you mis the passion or magic in your tank. Very beautiful vivarium Tom , it's stunning. I need a bigger home. Hi Ed, we wish you Happy Holidays too, the next video is going to be more informational, and a bit less funny. We'll keep up bringing you guys hilarious content though in the future.
Bruce is adorable..beautiful animal ;) ...How do u guys not get mould in ur terrarium. Every drystart i made in the past had a l little mould in it even tho i put fresh air in twice a day. And they are only up for up to 2 months..and a terrarium has even more moisture in it..miracle to me
We installed a fan, to move the air. Also, the Oase LED lights in the setup do not produce too much heat, that might also help. Good quality soils might also do the trick.

That was great and thank you. You guys made my day. At 10:26 would you give the names of the main plant in the centre, the one on the left with yellow-green flowers and the carpet plants? Have a wonderful holiday and happy new year.
Thank you Ali! The main plant is Peperomia rosso, the yellow flowered one is a very small type of Orchid (don't know the exact type, sorry), and the "carpet" is Frog moss. You can find the Peperomia and the moss on our site: www.greenaqua.hu/en/noveny/terrariumi-noveny.html
Soooo beautiful the big one, very good content as always, a pleasure to watch! Merry Christmas and new year! Cheers from Argentina The spray has any kind of nutrient? Or just ro water.?
Thank you Alberto! The automatic sprayer uses only RO water. Sometimes (about once a week) we spray by hand with some aquarium fertilizers dissolved in RO, but very little amount of ferts are used.
Hi David, no, not really. 😊We had one black water biotope tank at Green Aqua for a long time, operated along the same principles as normal planted tanks.
That’s a brilliant video guys!! Wondering but I like the large aquarium yous turned into a Vivarium that with dart frogs would be amazing but it’s just so big for some homes can the dart frogs be housed in the bio orb that yous showed which was also very impressive?
I think the Biorb would be too small for the frogs, you could maybe keep one frog in it, but I would not recommend it, it's much more difficult to maintain it with live animals in it than a regular terrarium. Cheers.
Hi Guys! Great info in your video. Im gathering all the info I can because my son and I are planning to build a vivarium with frogs like yours. How do you manage the temperature in the big vivarium that Tom build? And is it possible to add a water portion with fish or shrimp along with the frogs? Thanks in advance for your reply!
As a basic number you can use 0.5kg per each 100L/months. If you use only with the light time. This can vary depend on how much you need to push and what diffusion method you're using, but this is a general number which works well.
Yes, the aquarium parts of paludarium systems should have the same technology as aquariums themselves, because the same biological phenomena are taking place there.
Both setups are beautifully scaped. With over 30 years of experience in the aquarium an terrarium hobby, I would NOT recommend putting chameleons into this kind of setup. Firstly, chameleons use their feet like tongs, to grasp and while doing so, they crush plant leaves and demolish them. Secondly, the constant humidity is to high for them and causes fungus and other diseases in them. They need an airy environment that is quite dry during most of the day to thrive. In my experience, only the smallest leaf chameleons from the genus Brookesia could be an option and only in the larger vivariums, not the BiOrb. Other beautiful inhabitants could be dart frogs, glass reed frogs (genus Hyperolius) and some smaller day gecko's of the genus Phelsuma and Lygodactilus. These can also go in the Biorb.
TOEKIE WORLD agree but he has a fan and I think the lid is not sealed so hopefully that’s okay another problem is that food may run off and just die in that kind of setup
@@pisse984 The only good type of aeration in a terrarium/vivarium is when fresh air is sucked in to it and leaves at the warmer (top) part. This creates air flow and refreshes air. Fans only circulate the air, they don't create airflow. The BIOrb is a closed system and NOT suitable for any type of chameleon.
Yeah, Toekie world, this is what we learned about chameleons to, we would definitely not keep Bruce in that Vivarium. He has another habitat in Green Aqua. Keeping leaf chameleons would really be an option though.

For vivarium what should be minimum size
It depends on what you want to keep in it. If only plants, then there's no minimal size, if you want some dart frogs it depends on how many.
Great video I am setting up a black water tank tomorrow any tips guys

The light itself and the closed environment are in themselves enough for having good temperature in the tank.
Green Aqua thanks! And can the frogs be combined with shrimp?
It is not clear. Some experts say that they would like drown in water, some say they wouldn't. We never tried.

how long does your co2 last?
mine is a 2kg bottle and is empty after about 4-5 months (i got a 180l aquarium)

Thanks! We used the Oase LED lights that come with the HighLine set.
@@GreenAquaShop nice project for eyes. I have one question is necessery to use so much light. Plants looks like white because light is very bright?
This is more like an expo problem of the camera. But the result would be very different using less light.

BiOrb Air, you'll see it on our website.
Who manufactures the step vivarium?
That is actually not a vivarium, it's just a custom made plant holder...
I like the waffle guys! Can you keep livestock in the Biorb?
Sean Jones i think dart frog would be okay other amphibian or salamander would be okay too
We only use that for plants. 👍
