From we heard, Gyokko’s skin is just as hard as diamonds and Muichiro’s sword managed to cut through it. Nichirin ore is different from a regular metal ore and is probably harder than diamonds, so it is hard to break and change it’s shape. I don’t know if I’m correct or not, but that’s just what I had in mind so yeah.
