    Tonali will not dribble past 10 players and score a wonder goal, he will also not give you a bunch of goal assists. His qualities are that he is tireless, he will run a full 90 for you. He has grit and will fight for every ball, he tackles like a great defender in the middle of the park and he distributes the ball well especially to the wide players. Not every player is a goal and assist type guy. Tonali is a beast playing from the back.

      @hjc9912 Год назад +13

      How could he have been forced out and crying when he agreed personal terms with Newcastle 24hrs before they agreed a fee with Milan? You’ve been baited by a story reported by an Italian newspaper to pander to AC Milan fans.

    • @AlloyOzz08
      @AlloyOzz08 Год назад +1

      You believe everything you read in the tabloids? Bunch of Italian media bollocks spinning this to make it sound like he's forced. He agreed to the personal terms within 24 hours. If he didn't want to go, he could have denied personal terms and said he wanted to stay. It wasn't until after the personal terms, that the clubs finalised the transfer fee and terms. Even if clubs want to sell a player, if the player is adamant about not wanting to go somewhere, they wont sell them to that place. They player has the power to decline a transfer. The other thing to consider is Newcastle would NEVER want to bring in a player who didn't want to be there. One of the core principles with Howe's management style is he want's players who WANT to be there and are willing to do anything to help the club. That's why Ryan Fraser got banished to the reserves squid mid-way through the season and never came back.
      Now with all that being said, it is very possible that he got generally emotional when he was told at first. He's Italian, he grew up an AC Milan fan, he had hopes to stay there. Anyone would get emotional in a situation like that. However, when opportunity knocks (like getting double your salary and to play in the most competitive league in the world) you take the chance. These kinds of opportunities' is what helps you to grow and become better, not just at football, but life in general.

      @@7yep4336dfgvvh Player power is a thing- he literally just signed a contract until 2027, and the reason you sign a contract that long as a player is to protect yourself from being forced out. His own agent came out and denied the story and CalcioMercato said ‘Tonali wants to go Newcastle, no resistance’. Funny how only one newspaper reported that story, and none of the actual reliable Italian sources…

Newcastle aren't allowed to do that so I doubt they will reach the level of title contenders as quick as City did. City when they were first purchased were signing players like Robinho, Kompany and prime Tevez. On top of proven PL players like Adebayor, Nasri, Gibbs. City were taken over in 2008 and by 2010 they already players like Tevez, David Silva, Yaya Toure, Kompany, Jerome Boateng, Nasri, Gibbs, Zabaleta, Kolarov, Patrick Vieira, Gareth Barry, Joe Hart, Balotelli and Dzeko.
      That squad is WAY more talented and full of star power than the current Newcastle side. 2 years after their takeover they were already a legitimate title threat. Possessing some of the best talents in world football and some of the best players to grace the PL.
      City spent astronomical amounts on transfers and salaries in their first 5 years to build a solid foundation and speed up the process of creating a title contender. It's taken them 15 years to reach the top, not 10 like the other guy said. They were taken over in 2008 and won their first UCL in 2023. So exactly 15 years. And that's with massive spending and likely breaking of financial rules. Newcastle seem to be far more frugal and spending within the rule limits.

      The tables have just been turned and teams which use to buy World class players are now buying rejects from other teams and selling their best players to teams they used to take players from.

      I got it right. Only a crappy little island deals in pounds, the rest of us use money.
      English people have short memories, all they are concerned with is money and how much clubs spend. They have whole shows dedicated to transfer news and how much money each club spends. They come on websites and videos and brag that they can buy the players off your team, as if they are actually footing the bill, instead of whitewashing some middle eastern countries’ sins for a dollar bribe.
      All of a sudden an Englishman is concerned about money’s providence! That is so arrogant and hypocritical, just what we expect from you!
