This song reminded me of my ex. Reminded me of all those f*cking tears I wasted just to mend my mind and heart. It was during summer break, when he called me and told me he was leaving 'cause he found someone who understood him better than I did, someone who can treat him better than me. I remember pleading and begging him to stay, told him I can change myself to satisfied him and asked him not to leave because he was everything I had. He ignored my plead and ended the call with "sorry". I cried myself to sleep that night and I fell into depression after the break up. Didn't have the appetite to eat or the energy to do anything. Took at break from school and locked myself in my room, cutting myself (which isn't good mentally and physically). After two whole years of crying and cutting, I decided it was better to move on and start a new beginning instead of holding onto the past. I'm happier now and I appreciate my friends for being there for me when I couldn't be there for myself. To all the girls out there, never change yourself for someone who didn't appreciate you from the beginning, love yourself.

I kinda have a problem of relating songs to my problems, so this song sometimes makes me cry because it makes me think of my old “best friends” I thing of the “I know you love her, but it’s over mate” as me talking to myself saying to basically just accept that we aren’t friends anymore I think of “everything deleted like the past, yea it was gone” as how when my one friend said we couldn’t be friends anymore so I just thought that she didn’t care about all those memories. Btw I lost two best friends they didn’t die but we aren’t friends anymore, and they were the ones I would tell my problems to, and they were the people I trusted most, the reasons I stopped being friend with them was because, my one friend just texted me a few days ago and said that we couldn’t be friends anymore because she wanted to be friends with people who were more emo/ goth like her and then I said sorry I didn’t wanna be sad and depressing all the time and then she starting swearing at me saying that emo/goth doesn’t mean being depressing, and she called me a whore then said she meant retard, but I know she didn’t because they aren’t even spelled closely so it couldn’t have autocorrected and the part where it’s “ it’s the feeling of betrayal that I just can’t seem to shake” makes me think of my other friend who I stopped being friends with because she was always rude and bitchy and jealous every time I was talking to my other friend, and I got really tired of it, and we almost always got into arguements until finally she said fine if you hate me that much stop being my friend, so since I was so tired of her shit I said fine I will, when it says “ nothing heals the past like time” I think of how only time will help, and the “ it’s never easy to walk away” makes me think of how hard it is losing friends, if anyone reads this, I hope you have a great day or night

I didn’t know what to say. I was feeling sad, I didn’t know what to do. I was very quiet, and I regret even having people over. I made it so gloomy and everything, but anyway. She doesn’t text me anymore. She told me that just because she made new friends, it doesn’t mean she’s forgetting about me. But when I have problems. I told her every single one. And she didn’t really tell me hers. But one day I told her something and she just read it and didn’t even say anything. I’m suicidal, so she tells me not to leave her when I feel like leaving the world. And I always stayed. But it feels like she’s leaving me. We’ve gotten distant. I know this is personal or no one might not care, but I just wanna get it out. Because I don’t want to tell her this all. And she got a girlfriend who actually has the same name as me. She didn’t tell me that though, I figured out myself. Idk if that’s wrong, but I would’ve eventually? Because she’s everywhere. So, I don’t know why she did that to me. But it hurts. I hope she knows that whenever I was mad with her, I didn’t say anything because I didn’t wanna upset her. And when she was mad at me, I let her rant to me. I let her scold me, or whatever. I hope she has a successful life. I hope everything she wants, happens. I’m glad she made friends. I’m glad she’s herself. I’m happy for her. One day, at a friends party, I was upset and I wrapped my arms around her because of it. I cried. While we hugged there. It felt so comforting. I even bought and made her things that says best friend stuff on it. I get that people want space. But at least tell me. Don’t keep pushing me away. Don’t ignore me. Tell me you love me still and want me around. This is getting really long. I rant a lot. And I guess. Maybe I got annoying for her. I’m a bother to her. I know this song is looked at differently, but for me it reminds me of her. Because I’ve liked her for a long time too. And she liked me at sometime, but I never confessed until way later. When she lost her crush on me. So we stayed best friends. She made me feel good. She made me laugh. She was adorable. I can’t let her go. She feels so special to me, I just wished I knew she did too. If only I was... Idk. Someone better? I thought I was good enough. And you might think that if she treated me like that, I shouldn’t be her friend. But it felt different. It felt good. Only when she was upset, I was. And sometimes I was really sad, because I have depression. I’m suicidal. And just always want to end it. I feel like it everyday. Idk why I just don’t do it already. It doesn’t feel like she cares anymore. And it hurts so much. The best friend thing I made, it’s attached to my keys. And I walk home, so when I open my house door, I always see it. And I just felt like ripping it off earlier. And deleting everything. But I don’t want to.. I know this is probably ridiculous because it’s just a “best friend” but I’m really emotional and a crybaby. I’m going to end it here. That’s enough..

If the other boy said no then hes an idiot. I know what it's like being in depression, my friends have gone through it, and it scares me. But when I really listen to this part of the lyrics I felt a sense of hope that I will find someone who loves me for me and I love him for him. But like Otaku Otome Fujoshi said, you gotta love yourself first. It may be hard at first but I know you will. Anyway that's all I wanted to say hoped that helped.
