Would love to know if your ostrich has the full bontex sheet with minimal foam or if it has extra foam for the VDS? On the Lavender and Canterbury Bells :)
Hey girl.. wheat and French blue Jean maybe my next custom as well lol no joke but not til later in the year since I just did a custom JLB Sooo if you need a buddy we can go in together again.. But I’d be full quill blue less quill wheat so we may need another buddy.. and hopefully Petra does widen it standard I LOVE mine at the 30.5 I went with last time.. (hint hint lol) thanks for going thru the swatches I’ve got wheat and the FBJ coming to see in person but it’s another 8 plus weeks for me still
In your point of view do you think you can use these ostrich planers as an every day carry or are they more to be kept as a luxury planner to look at >? Love your video thank you....
I would say an ostrich x would hold up better for an everyday carry. I do use my ostrich planners daily, but for the most part they stay home. I plan on purchasing an ostrich x for my on the go planner some day when my budget allows😊 Thanks for watching!

I like the colors of the planners themselves, but since I’ve always loved Ostriches and considering their rapid decline, yet being considered the least concerning animal for being listed as endangered, I am definitely opposed to buying materials made from them. Sorry!

Unfortunately it’s not that simple to order an Ostrich Van Der Spek. You need to watch my. VDS customs video.

I have a small rider for all of my art stuff in my craft room. My planners are lumped in to that for sure.

It’s could be regular leather with ostrich stamped production
These are hardly ever actual ostrich skin. More likely leather with embossed. I mean you can literally always ask the makers to be sure.
