REDHILL JUNIOR SCHOOL PRESENTS: COULD YOU HUG A CACTUS?

Over the last 2 years, we have all experienced several firsts. While searching for a script for the Junior School production, our talented and innovative Drama teacher, Larisa Grove came across “Could You Hug A Cactus?”, a musical for virtual performance - indeed a first for Redhill Junior School.
The show is based on a collection of whimsical poems by Phillip Van Wagoner. It is a musical revue that follows a group of children as they come together to create a show that's bursting with poems and creativity. To ‘hug the cactus’ means the individual confronts life's hard knocks head on, for the purpose of getting over them as quickly as possible and moving on. This mindset has been one we all have had to embrace!
