Today we're going to attempt to solve two lego puzzles by LegoPuzzleNerd. The first one is a vintage mac style puzzle box, with a difficulty rating of 7/10 and the second is the Crayon Box which is a level 5. Enjoy!

Chris, the way you did that transfer at the beginning was sick. I've been seeing the progression of that top deck trick with you for a few years and I got to say, that was the smoothest I've seen you do that yet. Well done.

I 100% agree with you. I mean it was good before but that was smooth.
1 I love that he asks us questions throughout the video I have a full blown convo with a video.
2 I love the quality of EVERY video
3 his content is such a HUGE stress decompression for me. The way people describe why they like ASMR is how I feel about Chris's videos.
4 I honestly forget he's also a magician sometimes but it's always cool to see him do little tricks.
5. His content is ALWAYS entertaining sometimes (often) funny.
Honestly I could keep going but anyways he's super personable and 100% worth a genuine follow. I've watched tons of his puzzle solves more then once.
At the 8:04 mark, "what would you do at this time?" I think if it's emulating a computer, then either the power button or some feature on the floppy drive would be the start. My first guess is the power button.
Well . . . One solution we had for them computers from the 80s & 90s was to smack the tops and sides. It obviously didn't work and was jarring the components within, but it was therapeutic. 😏
Perhaps if this thing was one of the wooden Karakuri puzzles that would make for a solution, like the bad radio.

That wouldn't be true to form. The power button was on the keyboard, so the hart should only be a logo that doesn't do anything.
@@Blondie42 Apple actually used to suggest slamming their old desktop models literally on the desk top it would be sitting on to seat the cards in their slots better. Sounded crazy as hell then and it sounds crazy as hell now 😂

Been watching Chris solve puzzles off and on for a few years now. I always get a strong urge to make a puzzle box for him to solve. I used to think puzzle designers just want to play stump the chump. But I’ve started to believe puzzle designers feel more of a sense of accomplishment when they design a clever puzzle that can be solved.
I've got 3 ideas that I haven't seen done before that I want to try incorporating into a box. I need to learn how to CAD

8:01 my guess is something to do with the floppy disc insert or the power button. Is what I would try out first 🤷🏻♀️ lol sorry you’re sick, bro, hope you get well soon! Escape room was EPIC!
That's the thing about old vintage electronics. They are solid and sturdy as hell
the “knobs” on Lego are called “studs”. and that specific part with one stud is called a jumper plate. love watching you solve lego stuff 😃

Hope you recover quickly, Chris. I love how you’re not old enough to immediately recognize that the first piece you pulled off very much resembles a disc for these old computers. Fun puzzle. 🤠👍

@@RandomnesssE So were the diskettes it represented. They were smaller and thicker than the floppy discs he keeps he keeps confusing them for.

Dude, I remember using a old Macintosh in the school library, back in the mid 90's. Definitely an awesome looking puzzle, with an elegant solution!

Wow i like the trick at the begginning, your tehnique of bringing it to the top is sick and then you just grab the top card with two jokers and thats all very good.

As someone who is recently recovered from Covid the exhausted breathes are totally felt.
It’s a Mac. What’s not to like? 😄 love it!!! Hope you are feeling better real soon. So impressed you came in to make this vid. I just had a bad virus and couldn’t even think of my name, let alone how to solve puzzles.
8:05 what I’d do? I’d give up and take my coffee to the couch and watch someone else solve and succeed at these puzzles..

coming back a year later and saying I got the escape room game....F***ING AWESOME game. It was challenging, family friendly, and the cards were a great extra treat :).

I also got covid last January. It lasted more than than expected as I got fever for several weeks. Glad that everything came out negative (lab tests etc) on the 4th week. And yeah, I've been binge watch Chris's channel during those weeks and it kept me entertained and my sanity at check too. Glad to see Chris is okay as well.

To answer your question, the "knobs" are called studs.
Also, I read that you can put a Linux OS on a USB flash drive, where you just plug it into another computer to run it. So I plan to get a MacBook and have a Linux OS on a flash drive which I can plug into the MacBook to run Linux. I'm also going to try to put a Steam OS on another flash drive. I plan to use the Kingston DataTraveler HyperX Predator 3.0, which has a capacity of up to 1 terabyte (I want plenty of storage, just in case). I might even be able to put both OS's on the same drive.
"What would you do right now?" - I would check the bottom, you didn't check it yet...
My favorite CTT for close up, shuffling a card after it’s in the deck looks too suspicious and amateur, so glad you taught this. And this is a nice quick way to use it in performance. Smooth

The Ace was on top the deck, you dropped a joker, picked up the Ace while picking up the joker, the Ace was never the card sticking out. You distracted us by reaching in your pocket.
Since you asked what I would have done, tbh I would probably find a nice place in one of my shelves to display it😂 If it doesn't want to be a puzzle then it's not my problem😂😂

Chalk it up as unsolvable, rub it down in super glue and sit it on the shelf and just admire it as a beauty of artwork.. it really does look pretty cool..

Everything is so amazing! So excited for you brother! I followed like clockwork a few years ago for awhile before the office and everything, I lost my way in life for awhile and have been absent trying to find my way back. Coming back and Seeing everything you’ve accomplished has motivated me so much. Your doing amazing and want you to know that you do way more than just put out great material and entertain. I grew up playing with legos and the coolest thing I would make would be little robot suits for my gijoe figures. Homie played with legos and designed puzzles. Crazy.

The power switch on a Macintosh (I can only speak for the SE/30, but I imagine it was the same for all "classic" style Macs) was around the back, but I do agree that the logo looks like it should do something.
When you laid the top piece down at 10:13 I instantly thought that looks like a floppy for that computer.
