Can you tell us what the cost of something like that would be at PSI?
First of all, major kudos on doing this build; it's incredibly cool, and inspiring for a potential "someday" project car. The only question I have is why you went for 3.46 ratio final drive on the diff? I did a 4.1 on my E46 M3, very happy with it, and I would probably have done that for this build if it were me, unless there's a particular reason not to. Curious if you have any perspective on that - thanks!
This particular customer wanted a 6speed and 3:46 final drive to take long highway trips.
I would have recommended a 4:10 as well for just street fun!

hey! Great build, can I have the description of the brake booster and the suspension used on this project. I am doing s54 swap on my e 30 and I am looking for a daily drive experience as you describe here.

I think Its a M Tech 2 Steering wheel. M tech 1 was alot thinner.

Curious about the airbox - why didn't you guys choose to go with Karbonius airbox? I've heard that it fits with 944 brake booster - is this info wrong?
Not sure, this was bought for the build and it didn’t fit so we had it modified with new carbon and clear. No biggie.

The sound of these intakes is nuts on this engine. Plus it seems like it’s the “hype” intake these days. I’ve seen a TON of these intakes being used on projects over the last few years

Redrilling wheels and brakes?! That doesnt fit to the rest of this great car. German TÜV would be really angry. There are better ways like a real 5 hole setup.
But great engine, great car, great wheel choice.
Thats an mtech 2 steering wheel. Also the wiring harness cover (51711380391) isnt an m3 part. It comes on base models aswell.
Correct mtech wheel, yes we bought the cover as this wagon didnt have it OEM.
@@PrecisionSportIndustries i believe you said mtech 1 in the video. The mtech 1 wheels are skinier. More sporty if you ask me.
