    Every time I see Caitlin, on or off the court, she's very sweet and humble. To me she possesses the same kind of qualities that you see in Disney princesses, like Rapunzel, Cinderella, Ariel, and others. She's caring, kind, considerate, loyal and unselfish. And so much more. And the I'll never quit spirit of princess Merida. You can't coach that. You've either got it or you don't. And Caitlin has it in abundance. It spills out of her, and you can just see it.

    Iowa isn’t a top school they supposed to be the underdog team. They became good because CC was the best player in college and she was the engine of the team. So yeah, she did kinda carry them and make her teammates better. However her teammates aren’t bad, they just not the best overall players. They’re good in their roles, and the chemistry was great. So it worked really well as a team.

      not true. The year before CC even got there they went to the elite 8 and had Megan Gustafson who won npoy and back to back big 10 poy.

      @Somm_RJ 7 дней назад

      @@qj__1274Not true. 2018-2019, Iowa was no. 8 and Gustafson’s last season. Monika Czinano was a freshmen. Reached Elite 8, first since 1993.
      2019-2020 Kate Martin, McKenna Warnock and Gabbie Marshall joined the team. The Hawkeyes were no. 20 by the coaches but finished as no. 21 in the nation. No NCAA tournament due to Covid.
      2020-2021 Clark joined the team. Coaches ranked the Hawkeyes as no. 19 but did not finish in the top 25. They did not make the NCAA tournament.
      2021-2022 Sydney Affolter and Addison O’Grady joined the team. The Hawkeyes were ranked no. 14 by the coaches but finished as no. 8 in the nation. They lost in the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament.
      2022-2023 Hannah Stuelke joined the Hawkeyes. Ranked no. 2 and finished no. 3. They were beaten by LSU in the nationals.
      2023-2024 ranked no. 2 and finished no. 2. They were beaten by South Carolina in the nationals.
      As you can see, they were not a big school in basketball except that lone senior season of Gustafson where they made it to Elite 8.

    This was a real grudge match. Iowa lost to LSU in the Natty the year before, and that was when all the hand-waving and ring-pointing was seen from AR. Generally not well received - gloating, it seemed. CC22 wants to win EVERY game, but I think she really, really wanted to win this one. She was hitting that basket like a mortar dropping shells - you saw Angel shrugging *'I* can't stop her!' but you didn't see Haley van Lith do exactly the same thing a little later on after CC22 totally outmanouevered her.

    Her shooting a three first chance she gets is her setting up the stage, so if she miss the shot it leads to a poor shooting game i feel like, sometimes you'll see her focus on driving to the basket and passes after a missed 3, once she feel she's made up for the missed shot she'll try again that three, she don't just keep throwing garbage, she always try to make up for it.

    Caitlin starts off with a deep three for multiple reasons. First is to extend the defense and make them come past the 3 point line thereby opening the lanes for passing and ball screens. Second is a personal gauge, to see if shes on. Third os to dishearten the other team a long ass three in the first 10 seconrs of the game os heart breaking for the other team. Theres a couple other reasons but these are the main. Shes nasty

    That’s why the claim that it was Angel that made CC is nonsense. In reality it was CC that made CC.
    She could have gone to any of the top elite schools being one of the top recruits coming out of schools m; she was the number 4 pick in recruits but she declined and went to Iowa and was the only All-American player on their team and ended up taking that team on her own not once but twice to the national championships. She made average basketball players play better and that is the true sign of an elite player; if you are able to make the players around you better players.
    From her freshman year in college CC was getting attention from the media and was starting to pick up social media attention. Back then though it was the rivalry between CC vs. Paige but then Paige for injured in her 2nd year and that made the spotlight go all on CC. They started to sell out home games and by the time her junior year came around they were selling out both home and away games and was a staple on ESPN and sports center long before she even had her meet up with Angel and LSU in the championships because they were all in on the fact that CC on her own was taking a lower tier college to not just the elite 8, final 4 then outright national championship game all on her back and were hoping for the Cinderella underdog story of CC winning it all. So to say that Angel made CC is just not knowing the history and shows that you were one of those that only started watching after the culture war that the media created with their fake claims that CC did the you can’t see me jester to HVL that got Angel to do it to CC when they won and had the country go up in arms because of Angel not because she did it but because she literally chased CC around the court for like 20mins doing the jester over and over along with pointing to her ring finger showing that she had no class or good sportsmanship behavior. Then as you can see when they lost to Iowa it once again became all about Angel and her problems; whinge fess. You going act like a dog when you win, you then got to take the bad when you loose.

      Caitlin Clark wanted to go to UConn but they didn't recruit her, true CC had a following before the meet up with Angel Reese but you mentioned him only starting to watch after the media driven culture war, CCs following went over the top from not just basketball fans but people who were upset that Angel taunted Clark after beating her in the championship game

    • @dylanloveskellytaylor4774
      @dylanloveskellytaylor4774 Месяц назад +2

      @@bigman7570 yes but what I am saying is that CC was already a star in her own right before she even meet up with Angel in that matchup. How else would have Angel even know that CC supposedly would make the you can’t see me jester to her opponents ad the media claimed when in fact she only did it to the fans, her own teammates and athletic trainers as even HVL had to come out and debunk it but the media used camera angles to make it look like she was and they ran with that storyline all season long on ESPN…
      In order for CC to even be on ESPN she had to be known to the public and be already gaining popularity not to mention having gone viral a few times for her logo 3s on social media.
      The only difference was that it brought in the crazies from both sides of the fan bases that don’t watch the sport but are in it for the cultural war side of it all, just check the box scores and will if they hate CC be all about her turnovers this and her turnovers that, while the Angel crazies will be all about she is only catching her own missed layups that’s why she has so many offensive rebounds…both were already popular but that game took them into the mainstream of fans that don’t watch the sport and have chosen their battle lines. That’s the difference.
