But people on tiktok started a movement to "cancel" him because of his song with Rhianna "love the way you lie" because of him saying something about tying a woman to a bed and setting the house on fire. He had this animated video made as a reaction to it. People screamed more hate over it. But millennials basically told the whiners to stfu because we grew up listening to eminem, and the movement to cancel him died off soon after.
actually the video was already in progress when the tiktok'ers tried to do that, it was just convenient timing, Randy Chriz said it took him like 28 days to make start to finish, but since someone is always trying to cancel Em for something there was no need to guess at it, Em might have sat on the video a little longer if they hadn't tried, until they did try, after all they always try, people been trying to cancel him since he hooked up with Dr Dre and his first album dropped. MTBMB Side B dropped December 18th, only reason I remember is it tied into both the Billie Eilish scheme and the call me Santa line on the Alfred's theme track, being it was Eilish's b-day and he started the scheme washing his hands singing Happy Birthday to... then going into the scheme and it was 7 days before Christmas when the album dropped

Actually it has context and meaning here it is ~ when Eminem/Slim Shady states that he is “Tone Deaf”, that’s a roundabout way of exclaiming that he is a difficult person to get through to. Or stated differently, he’s not privy to entertaining others’ opinions. And as such he “won’t stop” being who he is until he’s aged or gets ‘canceled😉👊🏽🐐🎯💯(Btw I’m so happy & glad that she finally gets that Em isn’t just rapping about nonsense etc. everything he raps about has a purpose one way or another it’s impossible to rap about nothing unless it becomes redundant which Em obviously hasn’t done and never will and that’s another reason why I love this song “Tone Deaf” Em showed how versatile he is by making both a clever song lyrically and catchy)
