this is the best version. remember sunrise & biology on route we were in a convoy on the motorway 4 lanes wide and for as far as you could see. . in front brake lights at back headlight. we smith & mighty were on the hard shoulder for most of the journey and i did two and a half Es just getting there
I've been looking for this version since high school, ie 20yrs, THANKYOU!! :) Edit: it's actually, thinking about it it's almost 30yrs I've been looking.. Yikes time flies!
A bit of trivia for those that don't already know. On the original mix (which contains the lead guitar intro, there is a subtle difference in the main title, "Everything BEGINS With An E" opposed to "Starts" With An E of this version. The other mix was probably much bigger on all the pirate radios back in the day, whereas this one probably rocked the warehouses and raves generally much more. Was great when mixed with Baby Ford's Oochy Koochy. Unforgettable era :)
Its quite confusing the 12s of these ,there all different versions different colour sleeves and labels and there all misprinted with the wrong tracks .
Yep, you're not wrong there. I've had this version since it came out yet no mention of Sir Frederick on it. Also, have come across other versions where the labels are swapped ad nauseum :)
oh Massimo Osti what was it like at Sunrise rave, please tell me because I never went to that one, I heard it was amazing!!! Do you remember anything still about them days, love to know as THE CLASSIC SECOND SUMMER OF LOVE ERA WAS MY JAM!
There is a program called youtube downloader , it will allow you to download the video - a FREE PROGRAM !! :: The VLC player allows you to extract the mp3 - ANOTHER FREE PROGRAM !!😏 Aceeeeeed !!!
Without a doubt this is THE definitive version of this song: fuck, I had the 12" of this fantastic song. Memories are indeed made of this.........................
This is the version I like. Mostly the b'line (it's not really a bassline but I'm mean the bouncy "da dana da dana da dana" hookline,) and Ms. Kinky bits.
@@GraemeWight-wx3xz I am old enough to remember "switched on bach" , Moogie Woogie and other really old Moog based Albums = they are still boxed in my Garage ! I also love the earlier Tomita Moog stuff - so different !!
@@banyera : you just mentioned a whole lot of names i dont remember. I hit the clubs in 91. I was 15 and was clueless. Everyone in the place new the drill. I was mesmerised. It was Calton Studios in Edinburgh. Club Solution was the night with Paradox the night before. Open 10 till 4am. Edinburgh had amazing scene. Folk from England would be up regularly coz of the late close and umpteen afterparties with sound folk. Never any hassle. I miss those days. 91 to 94 was the best years for me. I miss them and all the people i met and the one'ness we all felt. We were connected. We were hivemind.
Id love a bunch of moog synths to play with though. They joy u could derive once u knew how use it through freestyle expression. Letting it rip out u. Its like Magic.

Sorry Massimo Osti you’re absolutely right about thinking this is the best by far of the mixes, of this Classic track because it is.
Stu Allen did a mazzive mix of this track in the late nineties if anyone can get it could you please send it was on the old key 103....
I led a sheltered life and didn't realise this was about ecstasy until years later. One of my favourite tracks (or records, as they were) from 1990. ♫
31 July 1989, not 90.
Colin Ormesher try the title for a heads up, 😀
This one was a legend in Studio 54, Barcelona
