Enjoying the show from Cleveland,USA. I resonate with this song. I dropped out of school for almost 10 years. I worked as a farm labourer and countless menial in Gh to survive. This song depicts how Ghanaians has been taken for granted by the politicians. we call them honorables but what have they done for the majority of the masses. They only look out for their wellbeing and their families. The Akokoa is the Ghanaian populace, and the parents are the politicians who enjoys every benefits accorded to them in the service to the nation. When a young man comes to the scene, immediately they feel threatened and will use their delegated power to shut that person up, if you don’t like what is going on then go somewhere else. They so defiant and disrespectful, they have created an environment that only favors them and their cronies. Akokoa
This song is the life story of my wife Rose. A true story of my wife life story.. and I wanted to write a book and a movie with it. Very sad and terrible, the first time she told me about her story I wept. And that made me loved and kept her cos she is a good woman. They humiliate and maltreated her to the core… she received slaps and is suffering from it up till now. When I met her initially, she felt so low esteemed, she thought she wasn’t even part of human beings, she was always looking down on herself and felt she was different from other humans because that was how they made her felt around them in the home. Till now my wife wakes up at 3-330am in the morning and and come to sleep at 10-11pm. Sometimes I wake up and fight her to sleep more but she can’t, she still feels she’s living under those circumstance, she’s been traumatized for over 10 years and I’m finding it hard to make her settle for all these years we’ve been married.
When I see people relating to this song, I just look back when I was living with my own Aunt and her children (3 boys and a sister). The one before my father. Morning Chores: 1. Fill tank with water 2. Wash her husband’s car 3. Do any other thing 😮that comes up. Afternoon: After school, straight to her husband’s shop Evening: Fufu pounding from Monday to Saturday and if lucky something else on Sunday No money for anything if my parents don’t send anything in the week 😢 Funny how life turned out. Glory be to God 🙏🏻 Hmmmm
This song is so disturbing that I can't listen to it for too long. Even though I slightly experienced this maltreatment I know for a fact that it was all around me. Very evil system that we have in Ghana.
Hmm but we are calling ourselves Christian nation oo they way it hates me err we don't value humanity at all we don't care about humans baako koraa wickedness to the highest😢😢😢😢
A VERY HORRIBLE INTERVIEWER. HE IS WEARING SUIT AND PRETENDING TO BE SMART. HE HAS NOTHING IN HIS BRAIN. HE ASKS THE YOUNG MAN A QUESTION, HE WILL NOT ALLOW HIM TO ANSWER THE QUESTION THEN HE KEEPS INTERRUPTING WITH DIFFERENT QUESTIONS. VERY USELESS AND BAD INTERVIEWER. THIS IS NOT A GOOD INTERVIEW.
@QwesiGolden No body gave a fuck until Sak twitted his music, am. Just saying Ghanaians don't think Sak is genorose, but he is, Guy went viral after Sak sharing and he even go's on to do a dance
@@Mrfantastikmusic Oh cmon you're deviating, no one is saying sark is not generous. Per the article we all watched and listened to sarkodie was never mentioned anywhere. The was how did the music blew and he said "it started on Facebook before it came to X". And i understand you your problem is why is he not mentioning sark's name
Relax! Sarkodie amplified the buzz but the question was how the buzz started and he mentioned Facebook to X. He appreciates those who started from the roots. Don’t spin it

Rebrand to Akokoa. That name will fly instead of your name Safo Newman.
What a very bad host!!
He mentions a song, tells listeners he is going to play it, but never plays it.
