My HP laptop also cheap, lasted me from age 23 to 31.... I use them for work as administrative assistant for online businesses. I love HP computers, they are a GREAT price and last a very long time. One can do anything on them. If they break after 8 years i mean they cost less than $500!

Idk if the amazon vendor lied about it (it said hp store) but computer was so slow (having to click things several times) from the beginning and it would freeze. I factory reset it a few times completely and still didnt solve the issue. I sent it back but it was shocking my old laptop ran faster than this "brand new" computer. It was a bummer because i actually liked the design and convenience.
I like the Power supply backwards compatibility as they' fit the same older charge ports or laptops... I'll keep an eye out for scrap AIOs/mini PCs so i can nab more chargers for my laptop collection

It doesn't mean you should not recommend HP. HP is still a great computer company, and that's the only company i have been using so far. Im 14, i got an hp laptop as my first computer, and then i got the omen 30L. And i like HP a lot.
You should consider it a recommendation because you're forgetting that a lot of people are poor, how are they supposed to have a computer? These affordable computers are an excellent computer because they are extremely strong and last for many many years. Also perfect for STUDENTS that are low income, and their parents can buy multiple in a household.
If you check out my 'computers' playlist, you'll see about 300 "budget" computers that I've recommended which aren't HP. HP will keep you poor due to their non-stop repair bills.
Is the power supply the same as an HP laptop? Is the AMD Ryzen the high end for this AIO? Found a tossed out HP AIO with the Athlon Silver. I think the CPU is the soldered to the mobo, so an upgrade to the Gold would mean a mobo swap. Haven't tested it yet
To be fair its preference,I use a hp laptop 17.3, no problems and from 2019 no problems, but have not used an all in one before, but ik quality definitions goes down, however, it can said that every brand company has their flaws, HP, Mac, Dell, Lenovo, ASUS, we can agree there not like how they were.
It's because you've got consumer HP (Pavilion, Envy, Oman) it's just poor quality and designed to break, it's planned obsolescence. If you had the enterprise stuff (HP Pro/Elite/Z) they are built to last and have none of these issues. It's intentional. Although I deal with thousands of laptops everyday, normally apple chargers are the worst and the HP ones work forever. In your case your power supply problems are because its an All in one, most likely your trying a laptop one (that has the exact same plug).

Hp desktops have no upgrade paths they made the power supply and motherboard so bad Cant even put a gpu on the motherboard because the psu doesnt have a gpu cable And the motherboard cant even work with another psu

It probably has a slow hard drive. 5400 rpm or 7200 rpm. Not a ssd.

The hard drive can be exchanged but it’s just not as easy. You need a suction cup to remove the screen
