The fact that we have to do this for a game we paid a bunch of money for is crazy. Where did the download and play games with no issues go?
I would not recommend wasting your time with this; I followed these steps to the letter; took almost 2 and half hours and Universe mode is still glitchy A.F. Rivalry system is jacked up, not ending when it is set to, inflict injury doesn't work at all it seems; tag matches still don't make any sense; auto rivalries are all over the place (and the auto matches often don't match what the rivalries are, such as constantly pairing rivals in tag matches). Typical same type of glitches you see in 2k23; this supposed fix doesn't appear to do anything. Doesn't even fix the issue where your main menu settings don't correctly apply to PPE shows. I played a couple of months (game time) without this 'fix' and now a couple months (game time) with the fix and see absolutely no difference.

@@lexiconluther I can’t claim that i know it doesn’t fix anything at all. All I am saying is whatever it fixes is so minimal it is not noticeable and many of the bigger issues such as the rivalry system, tag matches etc are still all jacked up.
Rivalry system isn’t good at all. It should be turned off. surprisingly that simple thing to do, makes universe mode so much better. Just use the rivalry actions when you’re about to start the match.
can safely agree. as well as random title matches being booked on major shows that don't even relate to the rivalry set. ill have Rollins v. Reigns in a rivalry, the 8th match of the night is those two then the main event will be Reigns v. Styles for the world title

Do you need to set champions for this to work? For the Minor shows do they need to be after Raw and Smackdown for example? Can they be on Tuesday & Thursday (Before SD)

This just fuggin ridiculous. They purposely leave this mode fugged up so as to drive you to other modes and it’s pathetic. This mode doesn’t save a thing when you create something and go to use it in universe mode. Characters especially. Overalls, move sets, entrances it saves nothing.

Great video on the universe mode like last year! I like to do everything possible to get the most out of the mode like applying the HypeDC attributes and sliders prior to starting and then do the whole cleaning process you show. Got a couple questions however:
1) Can you safely change the amount of matches on the card for each show, or can that break something?
2) Can you put a wrestler on multiple shows without it breaking some systems as well? For example if I put Dom on both NXT and RAW?

Great Breakdown…..About to start Universe mode for the first time and this helped me figure out what the mode actually is
its really fun if you can get into it
With the last thing you said about the calendar, when I do this set up if I do Raw on Monday, minor show on Tuesday,Smackdown on Wednesday and minor show on Friday I need to fast forward three days or something? How many superstars should I have for the minor shows? Can you have superstars on multiple shows?
I could answer ur first and last question. First it automatically fast forwards because u deleted all the shows after making the wednesday show. So wednesday is the only show there. Then we u delete wednesday u start from ur next show after that day. For ur last question i believe yes because when you go to assign show u can click multiple options

I haven’t had any issues tbh and I didn’t do this. The issue is, what you suggest takes an incredibly long time. Especially if you’re NOT on an S or X. The changing enemies and all that? Doing 1 character could take between 1-3 minutes alone. You’re looking at probably around… 3.5 hours to finish all these… I’ve not had any issue this year.

I still think they put a lot of detail in the game overall. You can actually see Samantha Irvin sitting ringside doing the announcements
One thing I noticed regarding managers is they still get a title earned it a championship’s history if a someone wins a title with a manager set, hopefully that makes sense. So you either have to delete managers or make sure in title matches there aren’t any managers set

I would say 85% of my time playing any Wwe game is Universe mode and it’s very upsetting that it feels like 2k neglects and puts universe mode to the back of priority since it doesn’t make them additional money thru micro transactions
It's like coding lol. I just work it out lol. Do what you have to do to make it work for you. Yea it sucks we have to do something we paid for. But they are still making double versions so actually we have not had a true next gen product lol. They have not been able t o save the tag teams in exhibition to save in universe mode like a regular superstar edit will lol. Maybe that will be patched lol. too early anyways im working on caws Lesnar, Road Warriors, Etc, before I get deep into universe, doing all that showcase crap etc unlocking stuff we have to in it lol.
It has needed an update for many years now, it's sad that the mode with the longer legs gets the shaft literally every year.

I'm not sure if I've missed it. I've been waiting for the video that explains how to properly set up your alliances. I did follow the process and delete all of my alliances and enemies from every Superstar and set up my universe exactly the way you said. But in order to make sure judgment Day comes out correctly and things like that, what are your tips on how to properly implement them as an alliance?

I have a question. How do you get main events to work properly. I always have to adjust the match I want as my main event. It's either a random women's match. And it never puts the major titles as main event. On regular raw or smackdown the major.title holder is never defaulted to main event match.

I did this for 2k22 & 2k23 so I'm tired lol..Ugh we should all be getting paid by 2k for fixing their messes =P but this year is fun its just sad since Universe Mode (imo) should be their bread n butter I mean come on. Maybe mixing GM mode w/ Uni Mode would help maybe...add in actual Promo scenes, Faction Rivals or attacks/ ambushes..etc. Wrestling matches & Rivals tell a story 2k doesn't really allow that. But the Rival add ons are pretty coo. But props Bruv you are awesome for taking the time to help make this game as fun as possible. !!Mad Respects bruv!

I was a bit confused on the part where you delete the rivalries & allies, but what's said isn't what's being done and there is no talk on deleting the teams etc. Do you delete everything for every superstar? Is that really all necessary to do, or would Turing off the settings also work? I tried to follow this a best as I could pausing the video but its a bit quick for my old eyes lol. When I follow this it fixes everything however one issue I keep having is that every single week on RAW and SMACKDOWN there is a title match for the main event
back out of universe and go back in, it will reset the match card for you

Hey man, as always these videos are great, but I'm curious, I just bought the game and I'm hearing a lot on Reddit about new glitches like roster splits not working.
Does this fix that too, or did 2K come along behind you and screw it all up further?
is most of this neceesary if i book everything myself from scratch? I don't use the rankings, rivalry system and match tables, and i manage stats on a spreadsheet. i never let the AI book anything.
no... Doing this is supposed to help the game develop rivalries and book shows a little better. Otherwise it will just book the same show every time.

dude im having a major issue with UM. i play through on superstar mode but when it comes to ppvs im made to have between 2-5 matches in the same event against different opponents. normally its match 1 is my rivalry finish and then a few more random matches on the same spot on the card. i cant progress the calendar until those matches are complete. any advice?
Example for my question if I wanna keep the OC together do I delete the tag team and managers as well as allies and enemies then put them back together or just allies and enemies?
I just wish the actual tag teams had there official entrances and not walking out with some generic motion :/ swear universe mode just needs scrapped at this point and make something much better at this point there’s no bloody hope.

I asked this same question. What does ‘attach a minor show to a major show’ mean?
Create a minor show and there is an option to select which major show can compete on the minor show.

For PC could you not upload a blank universe save file after you have done all of this for us to import so we dont have to spend a million years doing all of this?

Exactly and I messed with the match card all night I changed everything percentages I changed if it would be a Mina even for a belt with one percent chance and it still has every belt taught for ever night the table system has been broken since it was I tntroduced

Anyone else having trouble gaining momentum from rivalry actions that say give it to you... supposed to be sitting at 15 now after 2 matches and still at 0
See if u start this and finish at vacating titles, does this affect the steps if u go back and continue the setup later. Started this but turning of console i hope i dont have to start this all over again
Can this fix commentry???cause mine the commentry they dont speak also when on a title challenge the Announcer doesn't introduce the characters at all also in normal matches too and i cannot put the opponent player to the Announcers table

Do you know whether this all still works even after the last patch? I have heard that the last patch has really messed things up and I have my universe save ready to start in a bit after making your changes.
While yeah, we really shouldn’t have to do this to have a great running Universe but a small sacrifice of time to have than all the hours put in and not being totally satisfied makes it worth it to me.
So i did everytbing you said but i was missing 2 premium live events i dont like downloading costume ones so i ended it up using the extreme rules one and moved some nxt ones around, but in the end i was still missing one nxt ppv so i added them along with smackdown and raw to the royal rumble which i can use the nxt stars on anyways, but does this affect it in any way?
Ah i was so hoping we wouldn't have to go through the superstars again this year...2k need to do better

Hey so question I have two allies for seth and when I use the payback for the run ins in expedition it just keeps using that one character every match when I have another character like cody to run in but jey keeps coming out there in a trio team and I have them all set as each others allies but jey keeps coming out instead of switching turns on every match. Lol.. so followed your guide.. but didn't assign MITB because the next month was MITB PLE. Anyways, it added in Bill Goldberg that I didn't have assigned to a show as the MITB cash-in and won it. So every time Cody Rhodes has a match on any show, Goldberg comes out with another MITB and cashes in. It's crazy. The dude went to FedEx Kinkos and xeroxed a bunch of copies of this contract. He shows up at every show and cashes this thing in. He's collecting titles like they are Pokemon. It's stupid funny.
I also forgot to mention... that when Goldberg has a championship match.... he also attempts to "cash-in" and then Goldberg (the real champion) disappears and then you get the best commentator dialogue ever on how they are just standing around. So it's basically... challenger and ref standing there. No Goldberg(s).

@@albertofava865 Yes, but that was last year and we knew from using it for a while that it had problems. It's barely just come out in early access and apparently Beach knows it's bad. I'm not saying Breach is wrong, but how can you know after only a couple of hours of playing? A lot of those things take a while to pin down in Universe mode.

I have never had an issue with Universe mode except bugs. I don't think people understand how to set it up lol. I always run the basic raw, smack, nxt, with wcw awe an a special woman main show all my custom shows are major. I just go an add their pay per views of course. I also change the match default with my custom matches. I never touch universe until a Little bit however i will go an start one but will not play because im still editing roster in exhibition. An when ii edit in exhibition it the superstar will be changed in universe. Mode an i wont have to do double work. Like adding the current move to a superstar etc. One edit for all modes so when i start universe mode all my edits will be there. Lol i can make a tutorial so you dont have to do all his steps? Never been broken for me lol?? Tried to explain this best i could? I think people need a basic set up tutorial. I been doing this for years so. I just want them to let us carry over saved tag teams saves like roster edits? Is that feature in it. Next gen needs to be next gen??

After you do this and make the rosters, should you rank wrestlers, or do the ranks sort themselves out later on? I'm asking cause I'm getting some odd match up early.
you can speed it up by changing up you ranking to start, but it changes as you play

Question what if I want to do 3 different PPV will it still work for example SD has a ppv, Raw has one and same as next all in the same month will it still work
after you reset everything, yes just make sure they are always 4weeks apart from each other

To save time go onto my rosters in the menu and delete of rivalries from the superstars there and every time you star a new universe mode it’ll have them with no rivalries
Yeah I was going to do the same thing, think it makes more sense just to remove them from your game entirely. Especially if you make a mistake with this zero’d out save, that’s a lot of wasted time.

The only complaint I have is that when changing a wrestler for a match, it shows every wrestler and not just the ones for that show, I wish they would fix that
@BeachBytes the problem is that when I modify the universe, you don't have the winner of the rumble vs the champion at wrestlemania... if you don't modify anything you will have it

All that work hard resetting this game and the most basic things still don’t work.
Anything on serious injuries fixed. From 2K20 to 2K23, when someone has a serious injury, they are still available to be played despite the serious injury. I would like to know if this is fixed.
When I made my custom show I put the championship belts on my stars before I did the minor shows. Should I start over?

Your speak about fix, but what does it fix exactly? What is that is broken? Universe mode seems to work fine for me without "fixes"

I set up a superstar universe mode as stone cold and I can’t seem to get matches against people like The rock or triple H it’s always the same people I’m fighting. Any way to fix?

Make a minor show and then whatever your major show is a sign just one major show to that minor show not more than one
Does this fix the issue where caws are changed to strikers instead of whatever you create? Several year issue of this bug where it auto makes caws strikers in universe
If I do 3 major shows can I put all 3 on one PLE for the month without it disrupting everything?
