Always loved races from this circuit. Not just beautiful surroundings but a lovely flowing track (other than that chicane), and to me the bikes looked like fighter planes dogfighting as much as they looked like the greatest GP bikes of all time with some of the top riders of all time going at it. @@TrickyMario7654 True. Carl Fogarty famously got a stone through his screen at one of the Superbike practices at the same corner. Bit hairy but otherwise good circuit
Jeff Darnell The other Honda riders weren’t too well placed in this race though, plus you have to remember Doohan was still suffering from his injuries he got the pervious year.
@@jeffdarnell7942 To each his own mate. I love hearing Barry's takes, even when it contradicts what might turn out later. The voice of a champion, who's been there, and loves the sport with the biggest of hearts. Good entertaining commentary too, to my ear at least.

Great job, commentary by Barry Sheene and Ken Sutcliffe, Darrell Eastlake must have been ill or on holiday at the time.
I assume they explained Darrell’s absence at the start of the telecast, though the copy I got sent by someone doesn’t have it.

Damn..Doohan's bike was so much faster than the rest in 92 and 93...it's so obvious.
