The Di(Dee) movies are great, this one is more of a straight mystery leaning less on the weird supernaturally elements of some of the movies; with some fun wuxia fight scenes. Also depending on the movies you seen Dee is a more serious character, with no comedy sidekick or enjoyment of wine women and song that he exabits in other iterations. The production quality is good and the subtitles taking advantage of the letter box format to avoid the problem of white subtitle on a white background that can occur. There were few cases of Engrish, some minor formatting errors, and incorrect use tense. There was one sconce where they failed to subtitle a line or two of dialogue and once or twice a line did flash by a little quickly but overall a good quality production on all levels
