I remember seeing the “thumbs up” from Kaz when he puts the weight down. I don’t know if I’ve seen the entire lift before. That was incredibly easy for him. Probably had about 20kg more
Kaz was really peerless in the early 80’s. He lifted the winning lift almost as smoothly as his first. Jerry Hannan’s first lift was also super smooth But still, who knows how many titles Bill Kazmaier could have gotten? Important not to sell Geoff Capes and Jon Pall Sigmarsson short. Both men beat Kaz in World Muscle Power from ‘85-‘87 and when Kaz finally beat them both in ‘88 he lost to Jon Pall at WSM. I’d still say he would have more than likely won at least another title.
Exactly. We gotta take in consideration the limitations of a sport which had just been "invented", so not too much outside of local competitors. But oh boy, that's really America's strongest man and not much else. Only 3 guys in the entire field were not American. . You'll see comments left and right that Kaz would dominate the 80s, winning multiple titles. Are people really sure? WSM only became a world wide event in 83, with competitors from all over the world. . Realistically speaking, Kaz was earning America's strongest man titles from 80 to 82.
Kaz is such a beast, such a shame they didnt invite him back for years. He would probably hold the record for most wins.
From what I’ve heard he was a massive dick to everyone along with the story they give of it becoming too boring knowing Kaz would win
I thought it was going to be the Benny Hill Show but I wasn't disappointed. These old WSM are the best!
Classic Kaz.

Eh, I'd say Lars Hedlund was an absolute boss too. One of the strongest guys to never win the title. He was as good as Kaz in the log press.
@@b_rabbit435Kiri was also in that conversation for strongest not to win with OD as well
Kaz the Beast ;-)
Wow this sport has changed so much
I think the British broadcasts are always better.🤷♂️
They're basically curling the weights up. Impressive
The Kaz >>>>>> all other humans.
I love this type of log instead of the newer cleaner ones.
Would be cool if they brought back a natural log press like they have natural stone load
💪💪💪💪💪
81 was Bills peak, if he had the equipment and knowledge guys have today, hed give them alot of problems
Kaz is the king - he got screwed
So basically Americas strongest man
