Poch is never gonna stay with USMNT...never thought he would. I don't care if he's looking forward...who wouldn't? That's a smart person.

I don't blame him though. That's his country lol. He has every right to chose Argentina over the USA lol. And if we have a problem with that, then the USA coaches need to step up their levels so they don't have to worry about this quick switches. To sit here to think that USA coaches are elites is laughable and pathetic.

Not one sporting director in history of mls has ever talked about ambitions to make each franchise open up and merge or make it easier to talk or meet as a board and to facilitate improvements via recruiting and coaching staff are candidates too or should be if not. Shot stopping wins games, and this video slept on Callender, who badly needs training ffs.
Robinson and Rim already know who Callender is or what improvement the squad needs. Same o same o convo is too minimum. The "bare minimum" per se.

IMO he’s welcome with arms wide open to stay w usmnt after the wc but I’m expecting he’ll want to go somewhere else
I think this being a stepping stone would only be a problem if he’s so focused on the next opportunity that he neglects this job but I don’t think that’s going to happen cause in a way this is like one long extended interview for his next job. How he does here will affect his prospects after the wc so he has every incentive to succeed

Love you Herc, but fyi on Cholo:
    2 Argentine Ligas- Estudiantes/River
    Atlético:
    La Liga x2
    Copa del Rey
    Supercopa Española
    Europa League x2
And yes 2 Champions League runners up
Don’t brush aside his accomplishments like meh, he has 1 la liga and 2 champions league finals.

I would understand possibly why he would consider the Argentina job if it opened after 2026, but honestly, why would he want to do that once Lionel Scaloni leaves, Messi & Di Maria are gone, and many of the current Argentina players are closing in on the end of their international careers?? I don't know what the youth prospects are in Argentina, but I have not heard of many like we have for Brazil. Seems like he would be taking on a team that will be a lower point then. He can for sure know that the pressure he faces in Argentina will be 100 times greater than in the US where everyone is on his side and there is not a microscope on him due to soccer's relatively low media glare here.

You should do a bit of light googling... youngsters, garnacho, nico paz, buonanotte, valentin barco, soule, to name a few that are already at top level and are u20.
julian alvarez, cuti romero, thiago almada, lisandro martinez, alexis macallister... the list goes on for players that have 3 world cup cycles left (26, 30 and possibly 34).

It doesn't matter, Argentina will always have more talented players than the US, keep in mind that this current Argentina team is nowhere near the most talented squad the country's had (just look at the 2002, 2006 and 2010 squads by comparison), the abscense of Messi and Di Maria simply means that the team will have to rebuild like it always had to do before. As for young prospects you have guys like Garnacho, Barco, Buonanotte (all three already played with the senior NT), Nico Paz, Prestianni, Echeverry, Subiabre & Mastantuono just to name a few. If you've never heard of any of them is simply because, like the rest of SA, they have a fraction of the market value of any brazilian youngster, such is the marketing power Brazil has.

    • @CG68810
      @CG68810 5 часов назад

@@patriciobraillard9142 No need to google them. I know all of them. Garnacho is the best of the bunch and he is not that great or consistent. Plus he doesn't seem too popular on the team with his allegiance to Ronaldo! Paz & Soule don't even play in Europe, which by now they should be. Barco & Soule play for low level European teams so it remains to be seen if they amount to anything. These are not the elite players that will be retiring. Alvarez & McAllister will likely be around and are top players, but Romero and Martinez may or may not play for Argentina in 2030. They both will be 32 then and may not be around. There are no indications that Argentina has any huge prospects in 2030 the way say Spain & France do, or even Brazil.

@@CG68810paz and soule both play in serie a, which is in italy. Maybe they don't play for a team in the champions? But they are u20. What arg doesnt have is someone like messi that at 18 was already a big part of at the time the biggest club... but thats not normal. All I'm saying is three is plenty of worldclass talent coming up for the next 3 world cup cycles. Di maria as a comparison was still playing in argentina around that age.

Forgetting Argentina still have young players like Laturo Martinez, Lisandro Martinez, Romero, Alvarez, Fernandez, Macalister, Almada etc that have already accomplished everything internationally within a span of 4 years. Argentina ain't gonna be declining anytime soon.

Keep trying guys! Casey Keller saying they’re the poster child for the lack of consistency, no they’re consistent, consistently bad because they’re not talented.
One day someone’s going to say wow you are right our elite athletes do not play soccer. They do not play soccer. They will never play soccer. These players have been tagged the golden generation, well when the bar is so low I guess they would be the golden generation! take any of these players. I mean, they don’t get into any of the top sides in Europe none of them, except Pulisic, and obviously his teammates don’t respect him because they took the ball on the PK.
YES I WATCH ALL THE LEAGUES, except MLS its awful.
