Have we seen this story before⁉️ Could Erik Ten Hag be making an Alex Ferguson style retribution with Amad Diallo playing the role of Mark Robins and ironically a modern day Mark Robins could prove to be a road block on this journey as Manchester United face his Coventry City side in the semi finals of the FA Cup 🏆 In 1990 it was heavily rumoured that Fergie was facing the sack if Man United were to lose their FA Cup third round tie against Nottingham Forest. Obviously United won the match and would go on to win the trophy, which would mark the start a decorated reign for Ferguson at Old Trafford. Ten Hag has already won silverware in his first season in charge but it's safe to say performances this season have been poor and Erik is becoming more and more under pressure as new ownership watches on... Been saying this for ages, but another comparison are the kids coming through. Like Busby and Sir Alex, Ten Hag is a great developer of young players. I think ENIOS are smart enough to see through the media agenda, ETH is the right man.

I can understand it if there are obvious candidates for his possible replacement - but there are very few young, hungry managers out there who're also gonna stabilise the club. Stability seems to be the most important thing at United which seems to be happening behind the scenes now fingers crossed
