This setup is 99% zombie proof. The only zombie that can bypass are those garbage Jack in the box zombies! We will NEVER get a true AFK setup, unfortunately:(
It is impossible to make completely afk setup (even in pool). Because we can't make setup that immune to gigas and jacks. If the setup are immune to gigas, this can be vulnerable to jacks. Then, if the setup are immune to jacks, this can be vulnerable to gigas, gargantuar, zomboni, and footballs.
@@SamenPvz There is video about 12 Column AFK Setup in this channel, it is possible to make similar setup with 9 column, but with less 3 winter melon on each rows. I not sure this strategy will work or not.
@@lionidez3206Who could have guessed that a crazy ahh ugly-looking old zombie with an explosive box in his hand could be the ultimate demise of an entire community...
Not exactly perfect. This setup may be able to handle Giga Gargs, but it stands no chance against Jacks because their explosions kill your plants near them. Now if you make a setup to deal with Jacks, it can be ruined by Zombonis, Footballs and Giga Gargs.
The only thing stopping this from being truly AFK is dolphin riders taking small bites from the glooms in the 7th column and digger zombies taking bites from the gloom and umbrella plants at the back, which eventually could destroy the plants and if you are afk you wouldnt be able to do anything eventually leading to it being destroyed. also jack in the box zombies could ruin everything with one little bit of bad luck
"digger zombies taking bites from the gloom and umbrella plants at the back" actually no. Because of pumkin's bigger hitbox, the digger zombie doesn't have to walk to start eating it. By my testing, if the pumpkin isn't there, the digger will have to walk slightly forward and it is possible for 2 glooms to kill him before he reaches the actual plant
What gets me even surprised is that it actually manages to counter giga-gargantuas which are ass-kicking hard to kill. (Not that i actually know that their strong as hell)
unfortunately just due to the way the game works you cant make a setup that is bulletproof to both jacks AND vehicles / gargs / giga gargs. you dont have enough space for all the hard counters you need
Interesting! In survival endless I usually use 8 cob cannons that require a lot of micro, along with a similar setup to yours at the back. The main problem is usually zombonis since they aren't slowed down by winter melons, and sometimes gargs throw their imps just barely short enough to hit the cob cannons.
Jack in the box zombie can blow up the gloom shrooms, so you need an ice shroom and instant kill plants. Spikerock on row 1 column 4 and row 6 column 4 can be planted to stalling giga gargantuar
I played with it and sadly Jacks cause it's downfall since (at least from my experience) instant spam cant keep up with them, and unfortunately if the zombies are in the right set up giga-gargantuars can sometimes crush the 6th column gloom shroom before they die. But it's nice having a set up where you don't have to constantly manage cob-cannons or instant (outside of rounds with jacks)
Played this so much when I was younger. Played through many times and definitely played quite a bit of endless. The only thing I figured was the best was to do a bunch of cob cannons.
