Aww, thank you so very much! I did spray the tray with a couple of layers of shellac. You do have to be a bit more careful with the metal since there's nothing for the paint to soak into. No, I don't sell the paint...someday I will! Please reach out to Heather at Create Your Own Cozy. She sells DIY and her link is in the description of the video.
@joaniekurpik5280 Hi Joanie, I just wanted to drop back in and say that I just used Slick Stick by Dixie Belle for the 1st time, and that should've been my 1st choice. It's made to help paint stick to slick surfaces. 😁
Your projects are lovely. Question on the DYI paint: How long does water continue to reactivate it? Does it ever actually cure? Thank you for your time.

I'm so glad you enjoyed all of them! Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment! I used a dowel screw which is basically threaded on each end and drilled holes into the bottom of the plate and the candlestick to attach them to each other.
