I’ve been looking at the Genesis. I may have to trade up for it. 💯💯💯
Thoughts - I think the 5” slide outperforms the 4.6” even though it more than 400 grams and slower, due to dot never leaving the window. The vertical variance involves the trigger or anticipation instead of a straight dead pull, due to being light. On the .38 super; It just loads easier as the platform was never made for 9mm. A four port compensator is as far as you can go to maximize performance. In the TTI camp, made for combat, so combat specs. You can drop it in dirt, cycle more than 150 rounds in it and it will still run near maximum without slide oil.

@@teamblacksmithllc I am still trying to figure out the grip. Seems the steel is the way for both balance and rigidity. Skateboard tape surface texture being popular or maybe just what we grew up with given the age of some of shooters. I have seen a few competition Infinity pistols with Phoenix Trinity grips. Atlas seems to have provided the most customizable options but groupings are not the best or most consistent. Seems your grouping with the Infinity and TTI serve you the best.
Not sure, that there is any efficiency on time to be made on repeated shot times. Jerry averages .13 and Taran, .15 for example. It would seem the Transition time moving the weapon to where you are suppose to be looking at the next target is where the majority of gain is. It is similar with someone good at combat or any sport for that matter. They are mentally well past that point of engagement seamlessly flowing into the next things without hesitation which is why it seems like they are walking through it. They are looking for consistency and when they identify inconsistency that lends to more perfect practice.

Hey John!! Thank you. This definitely ranks up there with each of them. The Erebus and Infinity has slightly better triggers and smoother slide to frame fit than the Alpha. The Accuracy X all metal slide and frame is better than Alpha but the Alpha overall performance is better than the Accuracy X. Other than these differences which are personal preferences. They are all superior guns. Thanks for watching my brother.
How does this compare to your other open guns? Is it an open gun? Looks like it fits that role, will it shoot major?
It’s definitely in the same level as my other race guns. I would rank it with Masterpiece Arms DS9 Open. It feels better than my Sand Viper as far as balance, trigger pull and action. Oh it’s a race gun. Yes it will shoot major but I will most likely shoot minor more than major. Thanks for watching.
Way too costly to still have a polymer grip module, same goes for all the TTI guns
I would agree about the cost but still an amazing gun. It would be nice to see a TTI with an aluminum or steel grip. There is a new John Wick gun coming so hopefully Taran will step it up with. Thanks for watching and feedback.
How does this compare to your Atlas Erebus?
The Atlas Erebus has a better trigger but overall the TTI Alpha overall performance and accuracy edges out the Erebus. Once I run the Alpha in a competition, I will do a versus between them. Thanks for watching.

Do you think this is at the same level as your infinity race guns? I have this and have been thinking about selling it to get an infinity but I don’t wanna wait. It will help me to know if it’s worth it to sell it for an infinity.
As good as the Alpha is performance wise, my Infinity 38 supercomp is the best of the two and the best in my collection. The Infinity build, machining, trigger, tolerances and slide to frame fit can’t be touched. The only race gun that comes close to it is my Atlas Chaos. If you are a competition shooter, the infinity will be a great choice and investment.
As far as value goes, Taran Tactical no longer makes the Alpha so it truly a collectors piece. I bought for that reason but I must say it’s the best Taran Tactical 2011 ever made in his line up.

Who makes this gun? Staccato?
This one is by Taran Tactical based on the STI Combat Master 2011 model. Taran made a few of his own guns based off it. STI / Staccato was not happy about it.

Thomas!! Major pick up with the Alpha. As of right now, the Alpha ranks number 3 in my collection. Coming in third to the Infinity and Atlas Chaos. I sold my Bul Armory UR Shorty but another Bul will be taking its place soon. I will be dropping another Battle of the Race Guns soon. Thanks for watching my brother.
