Right after the live, 143 Vinyl's LED Base was sold out😂. Michael, I am positive 143 Vinyl loves you. LOL!!! I did ask for a "Back in Stock" message to be sent to me. That is one of the little services I love about 143 Vinyl. Thanks for showing another cool way to use our cutting machines. We love you and are obsessed about your tutorials. ❤️
This is so much fun!! Thank you and your acrylic piece turned out so beautiful , flawless in fact! I am a glass fuser and got a Cricut so I could make stencils and silk screens to use on glass with powders or glass enamels. Well now I am making decals and am fascinated by this process too. I was going to say that in glass, an "extra layer" of clear glass on top provides depth into a design, so it is possible that mirroring your design may have a very similar effect, not sure but it is possible. Thank you for this game changer project! 🙃
Hey it’s Dayton Oh. The mirroring is not for feeling but the way the lights travel the image. Take front engraved and back engraved next to each other and the mirror is so much brighter.
Absolutely love this video! Literally jumping off the deep end and trying this for my daughters birthday center pieces and this video literally laid EVERYTHING I needed! Thank you so much! ☺️🙏🏼
Very interesting!! I do want to learn how to make things out of acrylic material using my Cricut Explore Air 2. However, I couldn't raise the sound on the video. My phone's volume was all the way up. Help!!
Awesome project. I just got the Explorer 3, I’m learning. I do watch as many videos of yours as I find Cricut Design space a bit intimidating. Thanks for all you do- BTW I’m a gourd artist, I may at some point incorporate vinyl on a gourd to see how it looks-
Will 3mm acrylic blanks fit in the Cricut air 2? I can’t seem to find any information on what thicknesses will or won’t work…can someone help me out? I don’t want to mess up my Cricut by putting in a blank that will mess it up. I know that it will work on the 2mm blanks because I have been using that…I am currently trying to talk the customer into a 2mm blank but they seem to have their mind made up…(my husband has a 3-D printer that also has a laser in it so he is going to try on the 3mm but I prefer to do it with my Cricut)
Coming here for help….as I was doing this tonight (not my first time-I have “engraved” at least 10 pieces)….well tonight right at the beginning of the process there was a funny sound and then it sounded like the acrylic piece broke but it kept going and then all of a sudden a little black square “part” rolled out of it…..it finished the product like it should have with no hiccups….other than the horrible sound like the “engraving sound” but more hash sounding…..but I have no clue what this piece is nor what it does to even look up how to fix it…..anyone have this issue? Or know what the price is that came off? Any ideas at all??? Thanks y’all💜
Ok i watched this video and 2 other videos explaining how to engrave acrilic and also the dog tags that come with the engraver. Still it does not work ! Can someone please explain to me why!? What am I doing wrong?!? I follow these instructions down to the last letter but I can't get it to work. I've moved the star wheels over and changed the cut setting. I am so frustrated with this , please someone help me , pretty please with a cherry on top!! Lol
It's not a cricut tool. It's from a different company and if u use other tools than those made by cricut and it ruins your machine it's your fault as far as cricut is concerned and your warranty is voided.

Michael, do you have a video out for engraving on the LED blanks for the Maker?
Fantastic detailed instructions!
Have you ever damaged your explore air 2 doing engraving?
Great video, even though I have a Maker, awesome hack!!
🤩 Awesome video. Grazie.
Thank you Mr Crafty Pants. I have the explorer air 2 and found this video very helpful. I still don't have the blade yet but I will be getting it.
Can you also fill in using the explore. With the lines

@@itchy711 I am not sure how to attach a photo here of my latest piece-
Can't wait
I can't wait for another great tutorial, how exciting.
Good job❣
Will this work with "cricut maker" ?
Yes I just used different settings and tool it's been so long since I did it but the maker is made to do it.
Thanks
Can this be used to make acrylic wedding menus? Meaning, will it turn out nice with small lettering?
Does the cricut 41 blade do the same thing?
Will it ruin or make the explorer air 2 not functioning correctly after you use the engraving tool?
I have a maker 3, technique is the same correct? I am a total newbie
Pam mertz from az. I love your well all of your stuff💕
Can you use the maker?
Can you engrave silicone?
Awesome
Hola! 🤩 Did I miss it? How long did it take to engrave?
I can not find the links to find the engraver blade, the acrylic blanks or the stands! Please help.

I can’t wait to watch this video
But can we do this on circuit maker
I'm sure you can because the maker has the ultimate capability for anything.
Yes, you can do it on the Maker! I just finished it! :)
What tool did you use to do the engraving for the maker? Is it the same one he has here or a different engraving tool?
@@mommycares2107 there is an engraving tool for the maker
I am convinced you're my soulmate 🤣
I miss it.

Come to my house and help me learn my maker. I have so many projects to do. But I never do them. Hell I don’t even start them!
Wow, 143 Vinyl is not cheap... you can get packages of blanks on Amazon much cheaper then paying for 143's single blanks.
Where is the Template
I don’t think that this is the correct engraving tip for the explorer.. mine fits too loosly
