Don't own a single power tool, can't draw a straight line even with a ruler, but totally enjoy watching you DIY.. and keep those puns coming. P.S. Would you want to do a video on how you got into DIY, where you learnt carpentry and all your other mad skills and your experiences in general? That would be awesome.
I agree. I wanted to make sure my videos felt authentic and real. DIY is not glamourous 90% of the time and I want to show everything :) thanks for watching!
Always wanted to make a dining bench set like this after seeing hundreds of DIY on Pinterest After this video, I don't need to do it anymore. So satisfied :)
Always a fan of your DIY projects since Buy Or DIY season 1. A total subscription to your channel. And don't stop those puns... Greeting from Malaysia.
Congratulations!!!! So excited for everything to come on this channel!! As a new homeowner I can’t tell you how much I’m going to need all of these vids!!!!
Thanks Sarah! ♥️ I hope they help or inspire you to take on some DIY projects in your home. Tell me some specific projects you would like to see on the channel and I'll make sure I try and tackle that in the next little while! Xx
10/10 sure that a mirror was broken before this to cause so much bad luck lol. It looks awesome, especially now that everything is done in the front part of your house! Congrats! I love everything
Hey Danie! Just started watching you a few months back, and you are one of my fav youtubers now. I haven't watched a lot of your older videos (yet) but I wanted to say after watching this one that (though this is a fun video!) your editing, shot composition and general vid vibes have really improved in present day (2020). I'm impressed by the growth. You should feel really proud.
Am I the only one who reads „tine“ instead of „time“? English is not my motherlanguage and I‘m not used to read handwriting anymore but I just wanted to mention ig! I LOVE stained wood 😍😍
Love your channel! I love doing DIYs and have been thinking about doing a farmhouse table and really like that you did this one with the pocket hole jig. I bought one a few years ago but haven't used it. Now that you've made this so simple I am definitely going to make this table and benches. Keep those DIYs coming!!
Beautiful job on the dining nook! You made the table and bench look easy to make! Love the light fixture and the chairs and the pedestal base of the table! Love the hanging plant, too. It really brings life to that corner. So you choose to sit on the bench instead of the chairs! Lets you look out over the room?
Looks awesome Dani! I love the way it looks on the table base you found ❤️. I love the benches too. You can seat a lot of friends around your new table ☕️.
I love your videos... you're so fun! My husband and I love doing DIY things. Have you considered getting a planer? That way it would take the curve off the boards for the tabletop and it wouldn't have the gaps?
Hi from Australia ! I found you via Alexandra Gater. I love how talented you are. I am not a DIYer at all so I love your detailed videos. The sharp contrast with the white chairs n table legs is beautiful.
A: apron Edit: Some comments are calling this a skirt. In my experience, this particular piece is an apron. A skirt would be closer to the floor like on a cabinet with trim around the bottom if there were casters so you don’t see the wheels. Just an example I could think of.
I just bought similar chairs that are still wood tone and then varnished. I want to paint them white. Would you sand them? There are so many details in the legs and I'm scared it's going to take forever.
Lovely work! I wish I could build something like that.. however due to my lack of skills in that area (let alone power tools) I am one of those who'd rather order finished work and has it all delivered and assembled lol though I think you do a remarkable work! Superb! Keep up the good work!👌
Hey Danie! I'm hoping you could help me out with a quick DIY dilemma - I was wondering what seal you use when finishing your items? I want to stain the top and use black chalk paint on the base... Do I need to seal both? And, if so, would the same product work or do I need to get two different products? I'm looking to refresh my grandmother's old dining table and any advice would be great! Especially since in Canada, as you know, there are a lot of places doing curbside pick-up. So, a lot people can start purchasing items online, but I am so hesitant buying paint and things online because I can't see it in person. Maybe you could do a recommends video to help with online DIY shopping??? You're awesome - so glad I found your channel during this lock down!
Love your style and videos....I need to build few custom build wardrobes, shelves benches and renovate a wooden table in my house....I am in London....assuming you won't be able to work here (or thinking to combine a holiday &work here)...do you know anyone in London who can do the work you do?
I found you today, so I'm binge watching while I'm hemming levis. I think that part under the table top to cover the mounting board is called an "apron" . I'm not positive about that but fairly sure. Love you're DIY's I've subscribed. Looking forward to your PINTEREST diy's
Looooooooooooove this. Like love. Love. LOOOOVE! Did I mention love? I need to invest in that pocket hole thingy I see you using so well in most of your projects. BTW great intro, very profesh, you're doing great! And how is it that this channel does not have more views already Dani?! Your projects are so great every time! Well... I'll spread the word. And I'm here, your diy hard fan (get it die hard?! Puns are life 😂). Can't wait for the next vid! Bisous from Brussels!
Thank You Emmeline! The pocket hole Jig is a GAME changer for all DIY Wood Builds. I 100% back that purchase ;) I just started my personal channel so I'm working on creating new content for everyone this summer! I appreciate the support and love - AND THE AMAZING PUNS! You know I love them haha ;)
@@DIYDanie That's it, I'm getting one now as we speak! Ohhh, but I know you just started this amazing channel, I've been dying for more Dani content since all your collabs with Alexandra! And I'm so psyched to be part of this new journey! I dunno why but such a Dani fan since I first saw you! I feel like you're so chill and down to earth, if I were still in Toronto I'd definitely want to meet up for a coffee! #diyhardfan
Omg that glass breaking...😠 that kinda crap always seems to happen to me! Gggrrrr I totally need to make one of these (again) but this time want to purchase a pocket hole jig. Ugh at working without one!
You really made that corner of your home so beautiful, I love it. And I definitely want to paint my own favorite quote now. No biggie but you spelt tine, cursive is silly and the m ends up with 3 humps lol. Love ya girl ❤️
I love DIY videos, and you certainly deserve a sub after this. I just love your content and how quirky you are, also you kinda sealed the deal when you broke the lamp, cause same.
The part that hides the joins on your table is called either the skirting, or the apron... depending on how formal your table is. Farm House style has aprons. 😉
So pretty! But I don't think it looks like something that is so easy, for someone that doesn't have experience making funiture. I never even heard of pocket holes before now xD It would be really cool with a few videos about getting starting doing diys. Like what tools you need, what are good ideas for first time projects, commen mistakes to avoid, etc. :D
I don't know if it's accurate but I'm pretty sure my dad used to call that a table skirt... Or a skirt... However my memory is somewhat shaky sometimes, So don't take my word a 100% for it. But it seems accurate to call the wood that is lining your table that you're using to hide how you attach your table to its leg a skirt.

That's a great idea! Will def do that in the near future! Thanks for watching xx
Yes. Every single time I watch your videos, I wonder where you learnt your skills from and how you got into carpentry.
Thank heaven, someone who can't do a straight line with a ruler. Sounds odd, but so true.
This makes me feel so much better about doing DIYs. No one seems to show the setbacks! Keep up the awesome work!
I agree. I wanted to make sure my videos felt authentic and real. DIY is not glamourous 90% of the time and I want to show everything :) thanks for watching!
Dani this is an incredible transformation! So excited for the next video already!
Agreed Alexandra!
You make this project look totally achievable even with my limited DIY skills, pocket holes are a revelation! Can't wait for the next video 😃
Thank you Annabella! Appreciate the support! Xx

As a Star Wars fan myself, I loved your DIY art and I absolutely LOVE your dining table set! 👍👍👍👍💯
I love this! The white walls definitely brought everything together. The chalk white for the chairs make them so vibrant!
YOU ARE FANTASTIC AND ALWAYS BRINGS NICE PROJECTS. THANKS VERY MUCH FOR THE TIME AND EFFORT PUT INTO IT.

It's called an apron. Nice job!
Laurie Huttunen Was looking to see if someone had mentioned apron. ;-)

No, you're right. In cursive, it says tine. Good catch!
It has to be the "tine" because its all one word and in is written the same way.

This table & bench! 😍 I'm thinking a project like this is perfect for our space that I've been looking for a table for. Thank you for sharing!
Cool and super useful DIY Dani. Love the results!
Thanks for watching Kit! Xx

Yup. My daughter found out like you did, different color.
Fantástica!

Nice DIY. Gave us ideas :D Greetings from France.
Looks amazing xx
The rectangular barrier is called a skirt :)
Pinned and subscribed.
Aaand I was going to say that I would leave the lamp without the glass and put Edison bulbs in it instead ;)
Love the shorter hair, truely compliments your face!!!
Hi Danie! Can you recommend a pocket hole jig? Can't wait for your upcoming videos, you are so fun to watch and your DIYs are really great!!
Thank you so much 💕 I always use the kreg jig brand. If you check out the materials list on my blog, I link to the one I use :)
Thank you! I'll have a look!

Nice diy hard work but you are nice paint to... You can do wall painting as well... James bond...
I believe the table edge is called an apron (but I might be wrong) 🥴. Man you're sooo good. Love your stuff and I learned a lot too.
Thank you Debby!

I love what you made there. The only thing for me is missing are some pillow on that bench to sit on. Otherwise such a sore .... well you know.
The piece of wood that hangs down to cover the wood attachment is called an apron.
i always prefer farm table and bench to formal dinning set.... LIKE yr made... :)

i don't even know why, but you are giving me the RawBeautyKristi vibes. I am binge watching all your videos today.:D
💀Weather vs Dani 😂
aaaaannnndd the DIY 👸 wiiinsss!!! 👏😃😜😙
Whoo hoooo!
I think the wood trim that hides the underside of the table is called an apron. I could be wrong if so do t yell!!! 🤓
After all, what did you say at home depot: it was broken or you broke it?
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ u rock Dani ❤️ #WomenPower
🥰🥰 thanks girl! Xx
@@DIYDanie ❤️ all love from Morocco ^^
in the quote, it says tine where it should be time.
I think I'd call the edge around the table a skirt?
A recessed skirt, even.
D, say it aint so. You posted a video saying you were reyuring a broken light, which you broke?
Other than that, great video. Love your stuff.
You are so right It should say tiMe ago lol. wonder if it was on purpose ??????
GAW-GUS!!!
I want to do this but have no tools. I wonder if o can get someone to cut the wood for me
Hey Danie how much can you bench?
I don't know if it's accurate but I'm pretty sure my dad used to call that a table skirt... Or a skirt... However my memory is somewhat shaky sometimes, So don't take my word a 100% for it. But it seems accurate to call the wood that is lining your table that you're using to hide how you attach your table to its leg a skirt.
Yaaaaaaaasssssss!!!!!!!
Who edits your videos!?
🥰
The rim around the table is called the skirt....you're welcome
Where do you buy that pocket hole?
You can buy them online or at any hardware store. I got mine at home Depot 👍
STAR WARS!!! Only more reasons for me to subscribe!
Haha, now I want to take the round table top off of the pedestal legs and build a table like this… 😳
anybody else notice the mispelled sign? "tine..."
I have no idea what to call it but I would call it a skirt
Apron is the word you were looking for.
It’s called an apron. You’re welcome. DD (Denise D)
Just work on your cursive a tiny bit and fix the n to a m on time or what you said tine... but it’s still amazing!
That stain is Dani's version of Gater's pompons
A long ‘tine’ ago? Am I the 1000th person to point this out?
It's called an apron
#diy queen👑💍
You misspelled time on your artwork... Sorry for the pin in your balloon
A skirt
I wonder if it is tiNe on purpose for some reason, or simple misspell? 🤔Would drive me nuts.
love your videos but I can't help it that you got a new lamp after you broke it. That's not right.
Dani or Danie ?
Come on ... I can't be the only one here in this horrible year
Hint:2020
Love your DIY but not all your goofy stuff
