I have a really stupid question, we know the stand model does not tell us everything we see, and even the dark matter side of the house we do not have evince for its exists. So is it possible that we need a know model. If we who comes up with new models only looks at all the physics, from the macro to micro scale (nature is good at scaling) we might discover there is a theory that simple explains (Granted the mathematics can get complicated) with what we see. Ideas like electric Universe model, granted even though it has holes in that theory too seems to be a closer idea dark matter which can not be seen or touched. I mean how do we know there is dark matter for example. Is there evidence like we see with black holes that shows dark matter is there or is it just a mathematical idea that it should be there?
Think of evidence for antimatter and dark matter in this sense. We can observe so things effects and measure the impact. We then give a name to the unknown but real thing there. Like and equation. We know 1+1 equals 2 but the 2 is represented by an unknown. We know what it is, but can't 'see' it.
