Temu is like importing stuff not only overseas but also from parallel universes!
Lets be honest as much as Vista was hated Wahaby OS was sopose to be the fix of Vista which was a win 7 like experience. As 4 the hardware - back then hardware was not ready and the os was very demanding in requirements. Putting anything today will make Win Vista be snappy.

Alky for applicationa is used to port Vista Sidebar to XP. So the way it came was not perfect, but there were 2 versions, an older and a newer. Seems the creator used the older version and it could explain why most sidebar gadgets got broken.

well, that happened most of the time thanks to hardware/driver issue. if you use the correct hardware/driver, vista is stable.

@@serafimhacker He means, Windows automatically presets generic drivers for sound, for video, network, and they quite work okay for some desktops, but most of systems needs drivers from their manufacturers to work really fine and as intended. As an exemple, Windows setup installs generic VGA video Driver and it itself can't do the job on rendering graphical elements without proper graphical Driver and without DirectX, which also is not installed by default, at least not completelly enough for games, you would have to have DirectX end user runtime installer separatedly for games to became compatible.
