Custom Battery Relocation for the FG2! (8th gen si)

hacking up a battery tray for relocation, but it's okay because the car is clapped anyway. not sure if I will keep it forever but it is out of the way and I can now run my intake! flashpro coming soon!

What did you do to attach the coolant reservoir again? I see you have it mounted but you took out the battery tray that it’s attached on

I drilled out the spot welds on the part of the bracket that holds the coolant res. And mounted it with one of the engine mount bolts, but you can mount it wherever possible

Hell yeah, this was my exact thought when I saw Hybrid Racing charges $100 for a damn bracket. Only a fool would pay for that, probably costs them $10 to make.

Yup, I couldn't justify spending the money especially when if you plan on boosting at any point the bracket would have to be removed anyway for room for charge piping. Plus I have had zero issues with this custom bracket almost a year later🤷‍♂️
