She isn't saying she IS Madeleine McCann. She is saying she wonders if she could be and wants to do a DNA test to find out. She has many good reasons to question it. I watched her personal interview. And if she is not Madeleine then she could be someone elses missing child.
A DNA test seems like a pretty accurate way to find out for sure. The resistance to it is mind boggling.
If I had a missing child, I would never decline an opportunity to find out for sure.
There is so much more to her story. Do your research.
She has questioned the legitimacy of her parents & they refuse to take a DNA test, including the grandmother. They have threatened her to be silent and she refuses. When she started kindergarten, the teacher questioned why she could speak & understand english, since she was living in Poland. She has been sexually, physically & emotionally abused. This young girl wants answers.
She doesn't need added abuse from the media to discredit her.
yes i am also confused....she said that she was kidnapped so her DOB could be wrong but if she was kidnapped then was she adopted by her mum? she put photos up of her and her mum when she was a baby so i am so confused ...was she kidnapped then returned?
What I find strange, if true, is the lack of response from the UK Police and Madeleines parents. In their position I would ask for a DNA sample so the dedicated UK Police team can assess. Media/Press are quick to attack because it inflames, pumps up adrenaline, and SELLS! Q. What IF she was then think of the missed opportunity to solve this case AND more importantly a possible criminal gang of child abductors. IF she is NOT it can still solve who are the child abductors.

I remember a story a few years ago if a young woman who questioned if her parents where her bio parents, for one, they couldn't give her a birth certificate she needed. The end of the story is the " mom" went to prison and the missing girl was returned to her bio parents. All I have to say is, it's possible so don't go giving the girl grief. She may be someones missing kid that's hoping to go home. We should be supportive of parents of missing kids it might be a false alarm, but it might not be
It shouldn’t be too difficult for Madeleine parents to know if she is their daughter.Madeleine had a distinct mark in one eye. One of her eyes had a dot in it, that looked like a mole.

I remember that same story and it can happen absolutely I believe the lady had stole the baby from a hospital because she miscarried so many times... and then the girl grew up and started finding out strange things.

If the newscaster & psychologist guest took five minutes to look over the young woman’s IG account they would see that she had been in contact with her local police & Interpol without being taken seriously. Whether she is or isn’t Madeline McCann, she could be another victim of childhood abuse and trafficking. It all too common and often falls under the radar.

She tried getting in contact with the parents through the police multiple times, and nobody responded. Social Media has worked and She put her life at risk for calling out her abusers. It’s crazy how much hate she gets from people.

My first question to them if I was their daughter would be "What the he'll were you thinking leaving me alone so you could have a nice dinner??🤬". The parents can be sad all they want but they let this happen by their own actions. The daughter I feel sorry for (whoever she is), the parents not so much. I'm a parent and a grandparent. The most important job of a parent is to protect their child from harm. These parents didn't even try. Shame on them.

@@missmerrily4830 I've just written about this in another comment. This girl claims she has a coloboma in her right eye, which is quite amazing. I just don't understand why her story is on social media. She's said to have contacted the police and Interpol. I'm not sure which police, but Scotland Yard would've been best. People are so crazy on social media these days that I can understand the cynicism out there. It would be absolutely incredible if this really is her though. Just imagine.
Except the parents already know a serial child rapist had her and she is likely dead.
Researching more about this story I discovered 3 girls have previously come forward saying they are the missing Madeleine. All proved to be false. Imagine how hurtful that must be for the family. No wonder they are sceptical.

A friend of mine who lived in Portugal for a long time that it was quite common for gypsies would steal children to lighten the bloodline just like many cultures in the world do.
Maybe not made line but some other child that was stolen another little boy called Ben went missing too he was fairskined and blonde.
She said that she contacted police but they didn't take her seriously I think this is why she did it on social media..... praying that she is so the family can get closer

I heard she went to the police and told them what she believed. They sent her away. She has the eye and a facial mark on her cheek the same as Maddie and only started to piece together the account a few months ago.
No one wanted to help her, including the fact that her "parents" could never show her any baby pictures or pregnancy pictures of her.
Her eye shape, size and distance is too different for her to be Madeleine.
I have almost zero pregnancy photos, hate the way i look pregnant. Not that unusual, especially when you have body image issues.

The world is evil. If she's proven to not be Madeleine she's still a victim searching for answers and should be supported by everyone. I think what would help is if the McCanns came out with a statement supporting the bravery this young girl has for searching for answers. Salina, a simple DNA test will settle the matter. If she is Madeleine that would be wonderful, but the world is filled with scammers who prey on the vulnerable and if that’s the case she needs to be charged. If she’s in need of mental health care a court can sort that out. If she’s just a common scammer, they can sort that out too. This is not a complicated situation.

1. She's a young girl who has been through trauma. So maybe she has been taught to keep silent about her past and it's eating away at her that she needs someone's shoulder to cry on.
2. She is desperate for someone to listen to hear and it's only obvious she gets the door shut on her over and over. Why not speak out if she has been chased off by all other's.
3. Maddie or not, she never said she was, she said she needs answers to her "Hidden Secrets" that are making her do this social media out burst.

I believe she tried very hard to get help before going online. She felt nobody would listen to her , take her seriously, they all shut her out. Her family refuse to give her a DNA test. Yes she was trying to draw attention to herself so someone would help her. What lead her to believe she was Maddie, was, she felt that she was possibly not her families child, she has her many reason why of this. She started looking uo missing children that could be in and around her age. When she came across Maddie Me Caan case, she read that there once was a suspect, by the name of Martin Ney ( child rapist and serial killer), Her grandfather (her abuser) i is Peter Ney, Apparently the father of Martin Ney. If true, that is very coincidental

The POLICE need to help this young lady take action immediately! I believe she's " Maddie" Bring Justice for her, and her real parents need to do that DNA Test, and sit down and talk to her.

She's not been able to even see a copy of her birth certificate. The youngest photos of her are from about a year after Madeleine went missing. Her teachers said she wasn't at school when she was younger but her parents say she was. She says she was sexually abused when she was younger by a German man who might be the same person suspected in Madeleine's case. She has a birthmark/freckle on her leg in the same spot as Madeleine. She has the same eye defect in the same eye as Madeleine.
That's all the info so far as I can tell. I say I'm glad she reached out no matter how she did it. She might not be Madeleine (I say it's very doubtful) but I'd want answers, too. I don't think this is for fame. It's good to reach out and compare DNA just in case.
The reason why so many aren't willing to help her is because many of them are either directly involved or indirectly. Unfortunately, this problem has become so common amongst the powerful and rich -- There seems to be a sense of moral detachment that causes individuals involved in traff*cking and/or abus*ng ch*dren they feel they are “above the law” because of their money and status, and therefore, are allowed to commit these horrific crimes. God Bless this beautiful young soul, may she get all the answers she seeks.

Why is it so weird and odd to go directly to social media? She's a 21 year old and that's what people go to now a days. This is a generation of social media,to get the word out ...plus how does she get a hold of her maternal parents???? This is the way to do it by people knowing people who know people who know them!!! She reportedly attempted to contact police in the past but was ignored, which is why, she says, she has used social media in an attempt to contact the McCanns directly. There are other reasons to want attention besides fame and notoriety, such as trying to find out who you are. Many people do this to find long-lost relatives. "Fair and unbiased" reporting, my Aunt Fanny!

This has happened before in the case of Timmothy Pitzen. However the person claiming to be him was much older and Timmothy (or his remains) have still not been found to this day.

I have had trauma from listening to a man being murdered while I was on the the phone with him in 1977. His killers staked me for years so I was forced to sweep it under the rug. In 1979 I suffered another trauma. I could remember all the details on this event but not the one when I was 17.
When you say "His killers stocked me for years" - where did they stock you? In cupboards? On shelves? In the fridge?

I am absolutely sick of 'experts!' The young woman has said that the Polish police are not helping her and told her to go to Warsaw. Everyone should be making sure she is safe and help her, and not say stupid things like,' if I was her I would have sent a direct message to the parents'. How can a middle aged man who has never been in her position say such a stupid thing? Our current experts are the worst experts. He had no genuine concern that this might be Madeline.

While the doctor here is being dismissive to using social media for this purpose, I can see why the victim could think of using social media in order to get these news out in the open beyond the scope of anyone trying to silence her. If she is the real child, she may have learned this truth a long time ago and been gaslighted into thinking no one would believe her so best to never talk about it. Maybe she mentioned it to someone like a teacher or doctor only to backfire on her when that person told on her. Putting it out on social media is opening a lid that no one can close again.

Let's not be so quick to assume the worst in someone. Even if she turns out not to be Madeline, it doesn't automatically mean she's an impostor. There's a very good chance that she truly believes her claims and if she does and she's wrong, then she needs support/help rather than demonization and hate directed at her. She is clearly hurting already and so many people are unnecessarily attacking this young lady. Whatever the outcome, such hateful people are only revealing the truth of themselves, as they so often do.
This guy is a forensic psychologist opining not on forensic psychology but making unfounded claims about the individual based on his own misunderstanding and ignorance, and he clearly hasn't done any research before this interview.
The young woman in question states that she has attempted to go through both Polish police and British police and they have both completely ignored her, THAT is why she started this online campaign to get the attention of the McCanns herself.

I hope for all their sakes that she does turn out to be Madeleine.. that is the best possible ending of this story at this point. And as a parent myself I can't help but notice that she bears a strong resemblance to Gerry McCann, whereas Madeleine as a toddler looked like her mother. But my own kids have done just that - looked like one parent as a baby and then as teens are the spitting image of the other. So I find it believable that she could be, and hope that she is. Either way, I'm sure she just wants to know herself once and for all.

I don’t remember much of my childhood either because my stepfather was verbally abusive to me and I blocked out most of my childhood also when I was 18 months my mother discovered my biological father was sexually abusing me and somehow at that age I blocked it out until I was about 10 or 11 and then I had strange dreams but they were really memories of the abuse so like this doctor says it’s very possible ‼️

This is like that case where the French guy claimed to be a kidnap victim and his family went along with it even though his eyes were a different color and there was zero chance it was him. The family had always been suspected of killing the boy. And it turned out they had even coached the imposter to make it seem more plausible. In the end he was discovered a fraud.

Likely that the pupil appears dilated in the childhood picture,that may likely change the angle of the coloboma.
