Nmixx covering Red Flavor was so perfect. They absolutely nailed this cover. Vocals and the rap section shined just like they do with Red Velvet 🥲

I cant think of many groups that have THIS MANY iconic covers, especially for a group not even 3 years old. NMIXX are truly a once in a lifetime talent
They even did good 4 u, Don't Stop Me Now, Don't Look Back In Anger in London BST a month ago and they murdered it after singing for 25 min of non stop full choreo singing. I discovered them because my gf wanted to go no matter what.

With the exception of Lilly they sound uncomfortable with this cover and their harmonies are slightly off too. Normally i wouldn't have much to say but I feel a small amount of disappointment. Basically I think this could be better. My expectations for this group may be a little high i guess
@@voidking9597I know there are some places where they r off and background singers are making for it .But,you have to give it to them as they are dancing to full tilt while singing. And I am sure they recorded this after recording See That's insanely hard performance. We have to give them some credit.

as a reveluv they’re one of my favorite jyp groups. i can go to twice for the classic cute concepts that were all over early 3rd gen, i can go to itzy for fun songs with choreo that’ll break my spine to replicate, and i can go to nmixx to be shocked every single time at what vocal feats they can accomplish with each passing day.

Nmixx really a force to be reckoned with. So many stable voices, it's crazy. They all dance well enough. Even their weakest is stronger than some other groups.

I don’t think singing with or without backtrack signifies talent though. It’s not meant to just cover impurities , but it’s also used to make the song sound fuller like the mastered version and just because singers need to breath

@@Sullyoonaaaaa tbh I also don't think it shows tht are group is more talented than one that doesn't use a backtrack since, like the other person mentioned, it can just be there to make the song sound fuller and add layers to it aswell as keeping the volume more consistent when they move the mics and just overall make it less stressful for the performers since they don't have to stress as much with getting the timing of every single note perfectly right
They're still really talented but I don't think this is an indicator for said talent

I really miss how og Kpop wasn't so sanitized it's always been kitchy, zany, quirky etc. I thought from the beginning when NMIXX debuted that it was great they basically had a quirky concept but modernized, combined with hella vocal talent just like Red Velvet and it's been disappointing to see people reject that for more sanitized concepts or 'normal' concepts simply off the basis if it being 'too different.' But I'm glad that NMIXX are finally starting to get the proper attention they deserve they ATE this up, all the harmonies, Kyujin and Jiwoo doing Irene and Yeri's parts, them splitting the last part between Lilly, Bae and Sullyoon and her ending it on her deeper richer tone this was amazing I've always, always wanted a proper cover of a RV song by them and I'm so happy they did this👏
