I would love to see more cool tones from Chanel. Orange/red has been done multiple times and I’m ready for something different! The look is beautiful on you!
I must agree with you about this release. I bought the eye and cheek palette out of curiosity. It works well but it got a feeling that Lucia Pica was back at Chanel. I will use the palette as a travel palette in order not to take a bunch of makeup palettes. But it was a regret purchase and I never regret anything I get from Chanel. Thank you for your review and I wish I would have waited for the formal release. I was invited to an early release and got caught up in the moment. It won’t happen again. Thank you for your honest content you give us all.
🌟 I have to agree with you. I don’t think anything groundbreaking was done here with this release, but for those who would like it, the quality is very nice.
This is such an easy pass for me, I can’t even believe I’m skipping Chanel release, and so happily. These reds from all brands - I hope this trend will pass soon, I can’t imagine it’s being appealing to many., especially this mascara! On the other hand I’m impatiently waiting for the Le Blanc to be available - that I’ll be getting for sure. Thank you so much Grace for this review and congratulations on hitting 20K!

🌸 this is a lovely product for both cheek and eye as long as one loves the shades. Although I didn’t prefer it on me, the performance was quite nice.

I think this face palette is lovely as a cheek palette, seems like all very wearable items in one palette if those are your colors, and you do love peachy coral colors. It’s throwing you off because those are not the colors you like for eyes, but it’s a lovely cheek palette. And I get the fact that you did not need this item.
I find this palette to have way more use and a better purchase than the Chantecaille eye palette for sure!

I see the look behind this palette on a lot of Chanel promos. It’s a classical-painting boudoir nude eye “just fked” look, with either a nude or a juicy bold lip. I think a lighter hand on the eyeshadow is closer to the promos. The mascara adds to the more natural/love-bruised eye look. I agree that most of us have these shades already. Might get the mascara and the primer is definitely on my list.

This color palette is beautiful on you…how could it not be..you’re gorgeous! However, the Wild Meadows Chantecaille palette you did last week….you were stunning! I’m definitely wanting the red Baume and both nail polishes. I also want the blush in the La Blanc collection as well as the Lilac Baume. Very torn on the Tendresse palette 🥰

I’m very interested in the Le Blanc quad 😃 that actually caught my eye first. It wasn’t until later that I realized they had a blush too. I’m very curious about the lilac shade in the quad 🌟

The lip product is a balm? The color is very saturated. How does it wear?
Yes - it’s one of their less celebrated lip items for some reason. It’s very hydrating but not the longest lasting. This one would require more frequent reapplication when dining out.
Not the mascara for me… and I agree with the brush/eyeshadow palette. I would use more for blushes

This is a hard pass for me. I saw other reviews and I’m not a fan of red for eyes and I wouldn’t buy it just for cheeks.

Chanel made a mistake by launching these face and eye palettes and the Le Blanc collection in Europe before launching here. After seeing multiple reviews on them I have decided to pass on both collections. If they had launched here earlier I would have rushed to buy them, but after watching reviews like yours I will save myself money. I bought all the Dior spring palettes and like them better. Poor marketing on Chanel’s part. I think trying to build hype here in the US has worked against them.
🌟 I agree - the launches are all over the place. It left me more confused than anything 🙃 i haven’t been impressed with the last couple of Chanel launches and they feel a bit like they’ve been created without much thought. I could be totally wrong about that perception, but I’m sensing an identity issue with the direction of Chanel beauty.
Channel gave a real big bummer for spring. Nothing about this palette says spring which should be fresh and feminine. I don't know or see women wearing all this red color on their eyes. Maybe for the runway but not for real life. I look forward to the LeBlanc release.

After the great La Pausa Range from last summer, this was a most disappointing release. I'm so tired of these oversized products that we will never get through and simply a waste of money. Hardly anyone has shown any interest in the other palette, only Tendresse, yet this looks rather boring too. Even as a Face or Blush Palette, it still doesn't excite me, nor the colours that are suggested to be used on the eyes. These shades have yet to look great on anyone I've seen use them on their eyes. No offence Grace, you did your best but it's the colours that won't suit the majority of us.I don't know what Chanel have been thinking lately, except for the almighty dollar. Problem is that you need a good product to sell and they haven't had any for quite sometime. The only reason the boring Tweeds sold at that ridiculous price was due to the hype surrounding them. No-one even uses them anymore, nor speaks of them. So much for those tweed dust covers everyone went crazy over - where are they now? I see more interest shown in this next release, yet that's only about three products. Chanel has much to redeem itself for.🇦🇺💖🕊
