Saw it in theaters and I have HBO Max. Completely worth it. I saw Stephen's interview w/ Denis Villeneuve and heard how it was intended to be seen on the big screen and it's not hyperbole. The scale of things in the movie is pretty freaking cool.
I hope these kids appreciate the meta-meaning of Stephen's line of questioning: that they should count their lucky stars and desert planets for the honor and privilege of carrying a franchise older than the both of them combined!
I saw Dune at a drive-in. HIGHLY recommend looking for a drive-in within your vicinity if you’re nervous about sitting in a theater. SUCH a good movie, try to see it on the big screen!
Read the book. Saw the original. Watched this one and went "where the rest of the movie?" I didn't even pay attention that it said Part 1. Damn! When will we see Part 2? Can't wait! BTW, I loved Stephen's 'Duner or Later'! Clever.
I love the fact that Zendaya always has this bond with her costars like she has vibe of making everyone around her comfortable . And because she is such an easy going girl the male costars are so comfortable with her. This is the thing which actually makes us ship her with everybody .

I was lucky to see the film where I live a week ago (It came to cheaters earlier here) and, yes, it's beautifully done: well adapted, great acting all around, incredible cinematography, just a beautiful film to watch. I read the book for the first time just before seeing it and the book goes deep(!) philosophically, but the film worth seeing on its own merit.
