Tree Struck by Lightning Snags Power Line, Causes Outage Locally - Queens

June 27, 2024 Queens, New York - Sometime around 2:30 am reports of a tree down snagging a power line causing an outage was reported at 218-47 101st Avenue.
A witness that lives in the home without power from the incident states he saw lightning strike the tree.
