Of course he buffs GT only are you dumb? He gives GT allies, and only GT allies 20% damage inflicted! That's like half his kit tied to GT!
He actually does amazing on GT, using YEL LF ssj4, ssj4 gogeta and him they play so well around their weaknesses. He’s basically MVP17 for saiyans/GT

I would’ve loved to see a revival standby mechanic. So this unit would be Goku and Vegeta tag switch and once the preparation gauge is full, Goku comes out the battlefield and lets Vegeta attack so Goku can charge the spirit bomb. If Vegeta dies, depending on how many allies and how many counts have elapsed, the damage would be scaled and Goku’s spirit bomb would happen once Vegeta dies.
I don’t think it makes sense that in order to get the LF you have to die yourself

@@kerim4762 It's not about copying Dokkan, it's basically what happened in the show. And even then it would've been good for the GT team considering that they're gonna be rebuilt from the ground up.
Best thing about this character is now they have a Shenron model for Ultra DKP to kill
After using him for a bit I think his only issue is Ki. He can be a bit ki hungry on account of no cost discounts, and he doesn't get it on switch in. Other than that I'm really impressed with how he's been performing at 9 stars.
And this is why I’m wondering if overall DBLFkidgoku is better because just having him on the team I plenty of ki on green,blue, and ability activations that allow me to combo forever then get easy one shots on the target of choice. For example I just had a match where I comboed out a unit, then popped my main while having a blue, I use the blue and one shot revivalLFuigoku first which partly baits the opponent into thinking I’m going to LFcharge making it succeed often, then when he gets up go for ANOTHER bait and one shot again with the LF. Thats 2 units 1 being a revival of similar limit break in one combo. Sure hes gimicky but once you make sure to rush he’s right back to being able to combo all over again. Not to mention if I get plenty of greens to extend those combos.

@@venjachi7162 Wtf are you on about, this is a completely different unit, full power kid goku is meant as an offensive carry, this guy tanks meta lf's at 3 star for 3 combo's straight with no issue because of his ridiculous healing and permanent defensive element neutral lmao. Not to even talk about the fact that he is obviously a different color while purple is dead in the meta, not sure why you would even think that you could use one over the other in the same role, just because they share the tag kid and son family doesn't mean that they are even remotely the same lol.

So here's the thing. I fully understand how everyone feels about this being another son family unit. Here is my take and opinion. They needed a bridge character. Someone who can be good on gt but on other strong teams. If he was a primary GT unit he'd be dead in the water right now.

Because it was implemented when fsk was by far the best unit in the game and he made every new nonhybrids character useless.
At least they could have made his spirit bomb a death AOE like LF Cell's and if they did a combination of it and the preparation mode, it could've been perfect, like, when he dies he would get a gauge that empties over time while you are fighting with other characters, and then he would attack with the Death AOE
Eh not really the best as attacks that activate on death like the cell ability for 1 can’t kill and also wouldn’t fit with the whole dynamic of the USB, the preparation mode like the gammas and buu duo have would be better

@@kong9911 maybe, but I think it'd be better if it could always kill a unit, but the ones on standby also recieve damage without being able to be killed, more or less like the Gammas
@@AngryJohnArbuckle there is a reason why those death aoe don’t kill, it just would not be fair to get punished for doing what you are meant to do in the game to that extent

He is like a reverse Roshi, intead of deleting one of your character at the start and gicing it back when you lose your others two , he make it so that you lose when you only have one character remaining.
Instead of releasing him this month they could have waited for gt to get some base as a team.
Son fam is already juiced up team and this Goku just doesn't offer that much on son fam apart from sniping. Gt could use him tho. I summoned on this banner just for pan as I'm a hybrid main.
i did 1 rotation and got both, he's a lot of fun and so is pan and he's a rlly great finisher. Needs the stars to actually look like a def type and still don't think they're worth summoning for

Even as a gt main i think im skipping, they dont feel like the 17 of gt yet and i think ifnthey really are planning on buffing gt all year round like they said, you probably dont need this goku anyways. Rn yes because gt just started getting buffs but even 2 other good lfs/ultras will surficefor a core viable team. This goku might not be needed even if you're a gt main

Imo this is the best looking LF by far, im dumbfounded how the other lfs are not to this level, the only ones I think could get close (but still worse) is the transforming beast and the gamas but this one is just :0
Allthough the transforming beast has a shitty win screen, specially compared to the first one

I was hoping they'd do something similar to dokkan where it's a goku and vegeta unit that revives into ssj vegeta where goku drops the bomb once vegeta dies.
Or maybe a preparation mode or something.

this lowkey reminds me of Dragon fist when he was top 5 in the game. Takes a while to get the gauge but gives you a 1 shot ult taking away their vanish.
I thought his gauge was going to be nightmarish to fill, at least when he gets hit it goes up by 15% unlimited amount of times.
If it was just attacking, would've been Dragon Fist 2.0
This Unit should've been a Revival Goku that when he gets killed in his first live he revives as Vegeta (like Pikon/Gogeta) as a sudo preparation mode like the Gammas, but instead of depleating the Unique Gauge ge fills up an Unique Gaugue with the time where when its full it unlocks Vegeta's main with an Ult bein the Kid Goku's Universal Genki Dama. This would be really unique.

the GT tag is just an LF dispenser at this point. Between G4 drawing an ult, and this guy reducing vanish, going neutral and 100% damage cut pen vs last man you need to go out of your way to not land an LF.

He honnestly feel like a super tanky Hit, doesnt do that much damage with combos, but ultra hard to kill and can snipe anyone out of nowhere.
laughing like an excited monkey the first time i used his blue card on ultra ui and utterly annihilating him at 3 stars will be a moment in this game that i will never forget.
